My Rain-X wipers were pretty good, I have had them for almost 4 years now. The biggest help is using some sort of compound on the glass. I used some local cheap stuff and water just slides off at anything past 40. It's pretty bitchin. Nice! The post was mainly about replacing my stolen wiper blades lol.

I seriously didn't know what to think, who does that shit? I don't know but that's pretty funny......going to keep that one in my back pocket for the next time I'm really drunk. I'm sure my face was priceless when the little arms slid across my windshield haha.

If the woofer still works fine other than the surround I don't see why you would need a whole recone. Try just sealing the tear with amazing goop, and raising your ssf.
