Precision BK1300.1 for X/Icon?
ricksi30 replied to DieseLife's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I've been running one for a while now, and I really like it for the price. -
I honestly don't think anyone has heard it yet outside of the designers. Could be wrong though.
-
I used ~85 square inches total for my 15 tuned to 34, and it performed well.
-
How do you figure out port area? Just judging by your statement "14-16 per cu" I'm willing to bit that it isn't accurate.
-
70 here too during the 6 months of summer and rarely use heat at all.
-
Why, exactly is bigger always better? Other than the obvious point of them being louder. Less cone movement to achieve the same volume.
-
The coils are very dark to begin with, and that looks like a crappy cell phone picture. Either way this was resolved. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/59544-cloud77-please-read/

MMATS 2100.2

And the frequency is fixed at 25hz. My mistake for saying "~28". -
And my 800.4 for that matter.
-
I'm beyond happy with my 1300.
-
How much room do you have? If you have enough room get the 15 an tune ~33hz.

Finding an honest hooker can be hard nowadays.

The first step is an insurance claim, hopefully they approve it and it gets taken care of. If they deny that claim then you as the seller need to make things right. Cloud paid for a working sub and did not receive one and that certainly isn't his fault so why should he eat the cost? Like I said if it was packed properly hopefully usps takes care of it. Either way just work it out through paypal and post the results when it has been resolved. If I am out of line mods please delete this.

Actually I misspoke, I think it is fixed at ~28hz. -

Kickers don't have an ssf either if I remember correctly. -
Agreed, mine was that color new.
-
That's what I get for not reading the thread before I post.

1 ICON can get very loud.

MMATS 2100.2

The mmats is rated at 13.8, and I'm going to assume that the kicker is at 14.4. Even if the kicker is making more power (which I doubt), there is no way that it is noticeable and it's just in your head because you think the kicker is more powerful. OR the settings are making the difference. -

The only audible difference in the two amps is your settings. There is no way that you can hear a ~200 watt difference. -
That is what I was going to suggest but I don't know if he has depth restrictions.

Shouldn't have posted...
