I'd steer clear altogether.

What makes you say that? Shit like this. my speaker wire is thicker then the power wire they are selling with that "1000 watt" amp set up. Haha I saw that. The power and ground wire is like 12 gauge.
-
Wow that looks sick! I'd love to hear it.
-
This is EXACTLY why people get so frustrated with you. Not only do you have the record for the most this vs. that threads, you never listen to the advice! Everyone says go with the 9500's so you go with the x's, so what is the point??
-
15's everyone agrees, so go trade. See you next week with "Some dumbass wants to trade his ............ for my Mtx 9500's. Should I?"

Is the sundown 100.2 stable at two ohms bridged?

Exactly try things out everyone has a different opinion. -
The low's won't be anywhere near as good as what the Xcon is capable of. why do you say this? The Xcon is a low end monster with 31mm of Xmax and lower Fs. I have owned both and heard multiple setups using both drivers and aside from specs I've heard both first hand. In no way am I saying the sa-8 can't drop down low, it just isn't on the same level as the Xcon.

I remember seeing that box last time you posted it, and I'll say it again very nice!
-
Way way to many variables to say for sure, but both properly setup, powered, same car, and so on it won't by any means "suck"
-
This^^^ Is it DVC 1 or 2, and how exactly do you have it wired?
-
WOW very nice! If you can do 10's I'd also pick one up.

It seems like you have insufficient port area. Nice score -

Budget? -
SSD, or SA-10. If you have that much room why don't you get a 12?
-
Same here.

Your calculation of 15" minimum is correct,(If you use one 15 inch port) however one 15 is ~176^2" and four 6 inch ports are ~113^2" You do understand that two 6 inch ports is not the same as one 12 inch port right?
-
So 15 one inch ports would be okay?
-
Yes that's my point SDeYoung says minimum of 15 and then says 4 6's is plenty which is not true.
-
And why not? Have you calculated port area and speed? I found that you need a minimum of 15" diameter with aero ports @ 32hz. So four 6" is plenty. Ummm one 15 is more port area than four 6's???
-
Build a bigger box for sure but 4 6" aeros is nowhere near enough port are for the two 18's.
