You will have a little bit more cone area.

Thanks guys! For now it will be an audiopipe 15001d (hope to upgrade soon) This box should be super efficient though so it should still do amazing for the amount of power.

Good stuff! Looking forward to seeing where this goes. to SSA

Yes, we were the first and only authorized online dealer for AA. We are finally getting the opportunity again for this. Very excited. Hmm.. this is news to me too :good: Itll be nice to have an internet dealer The best part.......... we are authorized to sell at a MAP price, and not MSRP , so we'll have great prices on top of everything else. AA should be in our store as early as tomorrow! Awesome!

Very nice! -
He has no clue about tuning. lol. He was just building a box to fit in his trunk. Not a good idea.

Post a link if you're buying online. I can almost certainly say that it's garbage.

Whoever told you that was misinformed. If you think 41Hz is to high for daily, he isn't the only misinformed person. Yes, a pre-fabbed 41Hz box it to high as there isn't enough port. But a proper box at 41Hz is just fine. Please reread my posts as you obviously misunderstood them: 41 is way too high for a daily setup in my opinion (FOR MY TASTES) If it's a prefab tuned that high it's most likely not very good. Personally I would never put a dcon in a box tuned to 41hz.

They do quite well in sealed enclosures. I'd prefer ported over sealed due to the gain in output, and if the ported box is designed properly can sound excellent.
-
I'm assuming he has all of this equipment already?

That is a very odd design. The port goes from 5 at the end to 3 at the front? He said it was flexible. the exterior dimensions are kinda set lol What is this going in?
-
Dcons really shine in a properly built ported enclosure.

What are the box specs?

Vehicle? Power?

Your dimensions are right at 2 cubes without displacements. Great. Port displacement is going to kill you unless you can go external.

Thank you!!!! If he didn't have me on a time restraint I would get you to build us an enclosure, but it would have to fit in here: Appreciate it, but who are you kidding you don't need us anyway. It'll be cool to see what you come up with in that space.

Definitely tuned in. Looks great so far!

Very nice guys! I just might have to pick something up.
