New amp for my sister's Durango
ricksi30 replied to altoncustomtech's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah when I bough my zrs it was their top of the line 4 channel, that's why I'm interested in seeing how this is. At that price they could be some really nice budget amps. Audosavings has a flash series 1200 watt rms mono amp come up every few weeks for 100 shipped. -

I've been running a zrs 4 channel for years and love it. -
Like Stefan said little things like adjusting your seat can change your score. You could probably get there without much more money if you had some more time to play around with things. Ok, that sounds good enough for me. Ill seal off my trunk and do the big 3 and go back to the audio shop to do more testing. Being over 150 is pretty good I think. 150 is awesome, run some 0 gauge to your amp too.

What are you asking? These are brand new not yet released if that's what you're asking.

Completely seal it, do the big three, and run 0 gauge to the amp and you should be there.

Nice I've always wondered about their flash series. Let us know how it turns out. -
That is tuned really high probably ~60 if I'm reading it correctly.
-
The X line should be pretty cool.
-
Will they still be rated at 600 RMS? I really want to try these.
-
You definitely shouldn't have them at 1 ohm on that amp unless you are very careful. If I were the op I'd pull them out and wire to 4 ohms and go very easy with the gain. Check all wiring, is it the coil rubbing?
-
Wire them like this and still be careful with the gain http://images.the12volt.com/12voltimages/2_4ohm_dvc_4ohm.gif
-
Definitely be careful with the gain. What coil config do you have? How do I check exactly? Sorry, I don't know a whole lot about all this Where did you get the subs? If you got them from SSA which did you buy Single 4 ohm or dual 4 ohm?
-
Looks good! Can't wait to see how it turns out, and see what you think about the Pr setup.

So sorry to hear man. -
This is SOLD!!! Long gone. First post edited to make it more clear.

SOLD So I have decided to go for more of a sq setup and I'm selling my ZCON. It has less than ~5hours playtime on it as I hardly drive the vehicle that it is in. By no means am I saying that the ZCON doesn't sound good, I love this driver and hate to get rid of it but I'm ready for something different. I'll consider trades for other SSA 12's, and possibly other car audio gear (as far as subs go I'd like to stick with SSA, but I'll consider any reasonable offers). I'll get pics up tomorrow that include my name and the date. This was running off of an Ap15001d and was not abused AT ALL. I don't think this woofer ever even got warm at full tilt, it basically laughed at the 1500 watts. I'll list the cash price as SOLD. It will ship in the original packaging and will be insured. Pm any trade or cash offers. D2 coils Thanks, Rick SOLD

Not a problem man get the pics up and sell that stuff. It is really nice gear.
-
If you have a photobucket acoount that is how I find it easiest to post. You need a pic with a piece of paper showing the date and your username in front of what you are selling.
