two new ssa subs showing diffrent ohms
ricksi30 replied to twisted1's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
You're not going to get help acting like that. I would try another meter, or replace the batteries in the one you're using. Also if you look at the vc former through the cooling vents the coil configuration is written in Sharpie. Just chill if there is a mistake it will get resolved. -
Never heard of them, they just look like another bank account funded Chinese off of the shelf startup company.

South Jersey, I'll be closer to a lot of my family. I know there is a lot of hate associated with Jersey but even though Az is where I've lived most of my life Jersey is still where I feel at home.

It sounds like your gain is set too high.

Like Jon said heat is normal HOT is not. If you truly want to feel comfortable I would take Jon up on his offer. Bring him a bottle of jagermeister and have him check all of your settings. He is a smart dude and will make sure that you don't have any issues. BTW I added the jagermeister part

What are the actual dimensions that you have to work with? A ported 10" or 12" might be a better option.

Don't spend your money on student loans. Just volunteer for a few years and your loans are paid off. Seriously. Pluss you need a Benzito Volunteer? There's a few internships I've been looking at over summers, and for a PhD it looks like I could find funding from TA, research, fellowship, but for my BS or masters route I figured it was pretty much all coming out of pocket. Then again I don't know that much about the financials of college. ya thats pretty much correct, i haven't heard of anyone getting a masters for free but phd's in the sciences are (and if it isn't, don't go there). i'll be applying for schools this fall/winter My cousin got her Masters for nothing, and is doing the same for her Phd. She got her Bachelors at the U of A and then got into a job in admissions. She pays some crazy amount like $20 per credit hour, and she just received 10k from some sort of grant that she doesn't need to pay back.

Some guy just ran up to my car asking me where to get "stuff". I told him I didn't know so then he started saying he wasn't a cop and needed "ice, nothing else just ice". Time to get the eff out of dodge.

I walked into a shop here that was having a "super sale" just to browse, and they had 13.5 w6's for ~600-700, the W7's weren't even marked. I understand the fact that they need to pay the bills but how many people will spend that much on a sub? Also 1000 dollar loaded kicker setups, just two 12's in a box no amp, and they weren't even kicker's top of the line subs...

Make me an offer!

Round over bit to make an aeroport flared?
ricksi30 replied to EPerez's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Yeah I would use more port area for sure, a slot port would probably make it easier to get more. -
Do you have anymore pics of your amp install? It looks super clean man!

Get well soon little dude!

Mark had some crazy black goop he used on his Tahoe, I'll try to find it.

So I essentially run them on whatever I want and set gain accordingly, correct? As this is how I have always done in the past.Correct

Yea Sorry that happened, that's awful packaging. But typical.
