I hope everything is okay man. One is dead. The other was hospitalized for awhile but is home now and doped the fuck out of his mind. I want one BAD, but the cost of it compared to other options sucks. If I could justify the cost I would run one. -

May all our thoughts be with his family. I agree. No matter what any of us thought about him as far as audio goes he was obliviously sick. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and the children that now have to go through this.

A box for the 10's shouldn't cost more than 50 dollars. A properly built box for the SA's will sound great. It sounds like you have already made up your mind but in my opinion your best bet would be to build a new enclosure for the sa's. -

Port tuning is dependent on port area and port length, so the shape of the port opening won't change that. -
