I would suggest putting it somewhere else if at all possible. That sub is great ported, not so much sealed.

I hope so because having the ZCON sealed would be silly. It sounds good in theory but getting the proper ported box in that space does not sound possible to me. -
i guess when you put it like that yeah. just most comanies now a days are money money money and because they are so big in businiess you never see them help people And I try my best not to support companies like that. Just my .02.

What cable to get for AVH-P8400BH?

Without looking further into it, one says it is for the 8400 , and the other says 4400. -
Box two looks like it is way better. If I were you I would get a custom enclosure made for the DCON. The enclosure is just as important as the sub woofer, in my opinion it is MORE important.

Four ZCON's in that space with proper bracing and enough port area isn't going to happen. Or shall I rephrase that, isn't a good idea. -

Agreed, as long as the enclosure is the proper size I wouldn't worry about it.
