Newbie wants to buy a Fi sub!

The GCON would be a good option for sure. Pretty much anything from Fi or SSA that has been mentioned will be good.

starting a new vlog and trying to get healhty

I have been using the same site for the past two weeks. I find that it helps a lot too. Keep at it man!

Newbie wants to buy a Fi sub!

I don't have any experience with the X, but that might work as well. Also the DCON sticks out as a great choice. This is assuming you you don't add power though. The SSD, BL, or Q would give you room to upgrade power if desired.

200 watts is enough if you are just looking for some low end to blend with your front stage. If you don't plan on upgrading power I would save some money and get the SSD. It can sound very good in the right box.
  6. Yes, I would be buying in bulk. What are your issues with it? I don't want to make a mess of your thread, so I'll just say that I would rather see a different brand. Good luck though as it is a great idea.
  7. Hmm it has to be that wire?

    Wrong items sent (ohms)

Okay so I always knew it wouldn't make a big difference, I didn't realize just how insignificant it would be. Thanks for posting!

    The PT Bruiser, 159.5db!!

Looking good man! That number isn't half bad. Sucks about the alt, but good to see an alternator company with good CS.

    Wrong items sent (ohms)

You could just use them, but personally I would want them switched out.

    Upgrade Questions

Plain and simple, it is a BAD idea. You wanted opinions and you don't like them so you argue?

Nice! Sealed XCON 10's, first time I've seen that. Definitely looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them.

    imaging help

Never said you were stupid man. You and I are kind of throwing around some similar ideas. I started a thread a few weeks ago about going active and decided it was too much for me. I always need a loud setup that sounds good, maybe that is your goal as well?

    Sundown SA15

You can also cut holes in your trunk lid. That will help get you loud outside fa sho.

    4 15s and 8kw. I kid--hopefully. Close haha I think he mentioned two 18's on a shitload of power.

    Interesting site...check it out

High sensitivity means less power required to get loud. Most SPL drivers have a higher sensitivity.
