Haha I noticed too, his videos look like they are recorded with a flip phone from 1999.

I don't think I could complain about getting to drive that car, but maybe that's just me. Maybe one day!

XS D2700 enough?
ricksi30 replied to codester's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Ok ya I doubt Id come close to 2k ever with rise etc. k so one run of OFC, Knu or XS power? ill be getting around 20' so price is pretty close between the two. And is the Extra run of negative 0guage from the Battery worth the money or with big 3 done Is it negligible? I've always used Knu but I'm sure XS is comparable. I have several grounds throughout my car, but it isn't necessary. It definitely won't hurt -

But I would recommend OFC. -

No one is plenty for 2k in my opinion. -

No problem, I don't have any first hand experience with Singer but I've only heard good things. 500 shipped to Canada sounds reasonable. It is definitely worth the wait, and I'll be looking forward to your build log. -

You should be okay, if not lower the gain a bit until you do more upgrades. -
HOW did you set the gain?

Bass boost?

Maybe the dust cap is loose? How did you set the gain?

Damn AZ has to be the ugliest place in the U.S.A. I REALLY hate it here. Can't wait to relocate!

Ugh yeah even that low I would be happier. It has been 111 Fahrenheit and humid the past few days.

Sounds like fun! I envy the cool weather.

Question on rewiring subs
ricksi30 replied to needmobass's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Just run the wires through a hole and seal it up. Or you can get these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=091-1245 -
That is the only thing that I don't like about mine.

You could probably wrap your arm rest in some black leather.

Agreed

900 is plenty of power, I'm sure that you will be happy with the ICON.
