If you need mid bass, pro audio drivers are not the solution.
-
If you want to decrease volume you will want to add blocks of wood, or close off a portion of the enclosure. Polyfil actually makes a driver behave as if it is in a larger enclosure.
-
I'd shoot for a minimum of 6" width. Determining the minimum amount of port area has NOTHING to do with the size of the enclosure.
-
Start a bit bigger, then you can always put things inside of the enclosure to reduce the volume.

Is this a bandpass enclosure, or just standard ported? Definitely not the first either way, but I'm interested in seeing how it meters. How does it sound? -
Holy shit! That number at 30hz is crazy out of the trunk, especially your Lincoln.

They will probably send you a ups label to slap on the box. You can schedule a pickup or drop it off at a ups store.

Problem solved!

Yes you just need a 12v signal to tell the amp to turn on. -

10 gauge is fine for a small amp and a short run. -

You don't need the full 750. I really like my PPI Bk amps. The Mb Quart is also another solid budget amp. Nice choice on the sub! -
Happy Birthday!

Nice! How are you liking the new setup? I've also noticed that youtube is SLOW.

Very nice!

Happy Birthday buddy! I hope that it is a good one!

I'm sure that either Aaron or Mark will see this tomorrow, and get it straightened out.

trouble amplifying speakers; speakers won't play
ricksi30 replied to theo111's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
It is one of three things....bad wiring, the speakers are dead, or the amp is dead. Start by testing another speaker that you have sitting around. -
Missed the head unit ~700.

Lol that is ~600 dollars worth of equipment.
