i understand what you mean about things passing QC. from the way you put it , im sure it wouldnt be a problem to some , myself included. are these drivers on hold also? or just the a-stock. and this may be a stupid question , but i thought i would ask because im sure someone will. will there be any type of recones for these incase one goes?

ive seen you say that these are part of your 'entry level' line , are you going to be putting out some beefier subs to fill the gap between the nightshade and these? also , about the b-stock lead slap , is that the only thing thats wrong with em? how bad is it? will a bit of felt on the backside of the cone help out like what Fi does with thier subs? thanks.

just ordered a kx550.3 and i need some suggestions on a sub. if the maw's were still in production , id snag one up , but i decided to downsize too late. so i need some suggestions for a 12" that will work well in both sealed and ported enclosures being fed 350-400wrms @ 2 ohm that will get decently loud and not sound like poop. budget is around $100 but ill spend a bit more if i have to get something quality. i was looking at the RE SR , but i really couldnt find enough reviews on them. thanks in advance.

id love to get an idqv.3 , but its out of my budget. maybe a ssd , or something based off a tc2+ motor would be excellent. wasnt there a cheap tc sounds db-500 knock off somewhere on the net? probably wasnt dual 4 though.

x2. how much extra power will the 800d put out vs the current 1000d? will it still use the 4g power and grounds? size isnt that much of an issue if it will put out that much more power. and if it uses the same gauge connections for it to be a direct swap with the 1000d , id be all over it. even though , i do love the size to power ratio of the 1000d. <3

i know i could do the 100.4 with bridged rear channels , but it would be great if sundown put out something similar to the a5 as far as substage power. i know it probably wont happen , but i can always dream, cant i?

hmm? i listen to alot of rap and occasionally ill play some rock/metal. so i would like the substage to be 'there'. its not like im going to be running a full active 3 way set up right away. everyone has to start somewhere. i would love to have an award winning sq setup , but cant afford everything needed to get started right now. eventually i will though. if i decide to get rid of my q , i may go with a single 12" idq and give my girl the ssd....

not too serious on the name. but i will be coming from a 15" fi q on a sae-1000d in 3.8 @ 30 hz. so im used to getting loud when i want to. reading over the manual on the 550.3 its 420w @ 2ohm on 14.4 volts and 360w on 12.5 volts. so it wont even be a full 400wrms.

i dont know how much they are in demand , but i know id love to see a nice big three channel from sundown. similar to the dls a5. 2 x 85w @ 4 ohm , 300 x 1 @ 4 or 780 x 1 @ 1 ohm. that would be great for the people who just want a solid amp to power thier fronts and substage, like myself. lol.

im looking at a Fi q 15 and was wondering if i should get the BP option. i currently have a sundown sae1000d, but will be upgrading in the future to a 1500d. will i notice any difference in a Q with the BP on 1kw than one without it?

iirc , that model amp only pushes 250 @ 4 ohm and 500 @ 2 ohm. im not POSITIVE but im 97% sure it does. that being said , that lower power would probably be better suited for the SSD. or you should run one on each coil of a Q...

x2 on pics. any other sub set-ups you can compare it to? im torn between a single 15 or 18" q or two maw 15's.
