well after a 3 year hiatus of not having a SI Mag i'm back. i had an original claw basket 12. i just acquired a 15" new gen Mag and its going in a roadmaster wagon (huge space). and will power it with the mono side of a memphis big belle (1100w RMS) *****EDIT***** i wanted some expert opinion on the box plans i came up with....4.0 ft^3 @ 30hz total internal vol - 5.66 ft^3 (46.5"w x 12"h x 17.53"d) port area - 54 in^2 (18" x 3") port length - 37.31 in driver vol - .2 ft^3 .....what i don't know how to do is figure the port wall lengths. the sub will be firing up with the port up too. any help or advice is greatly appreciated. i'm stoked to be back with SI.

hmm... i never thought about making the port on both sides. i'm definitely doing it that way. thanks man.

well i figure i can snake it if i offset the driver to one side. so that there's some air space behind the magnet where do i measure the length of the port? (am i correct, down the middle) and how long the walls should be? i changed up my numbers again, how do those specs look?

don't be alarmed buy the post count, i'm usually a lurker. :ph34r: but i have some serious interest in a SI 15". i have a 12" right now and i love it but it's not loud enough for me, so i figure what heck get a 15. and now i must sell the 12 and i need a 15. email me at [email protected]. i have refs on ebay, SD, and CA. please let me know.

any word since nick's post on the 1st, on the status of production? can't wait to get my hands on a 12. would a single 12 work in a 3ft^3 @ 33hz?

This is my first post here so wassup. I'm tryin to upgrade from my Kicker CompVR to a MagnumD2 12" but i need to know whether or not they come in or can you order one in dual4 ohm. I have a Kicker 600.1 amp and i wanna use the whole 600w on the D2. If someone could help me out. Thanx.
