Never used one myself, but I've seen vids and have heard nothing but great things about them. -
question about bass remote knob
spoonraker replied to pimpedout97x's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yes that makes perfect sense. The knob adjusts the gain, but it is designed to prevent damage to your amp. You set the gains on your amp to the maximum level where you can safely have them, then the knob will allow you to adjust it anywhere below that point and up to it. This way if there is too much bass or you just want to tone it down for a while you can do so, and crank it right back up to the level you set originally without having to reset your gains and worry about clipping. Not all bass knobs work that way, but most do. -
Yeah yeah yeah...I know...Sony is bad, blah blah blah. Take a look at these comps, they aren't your typical Sonys.

2 new vids....a visitor from Singapore yesterday

Wow now that is dedication, coming all that way to hear your cars. Where exactly are you located anyway? -
Fi should just put the proper paperwork available online so that nobody else has this problem in the future. People seem to like the Fi logo

To calculate port length just measure down the center. An easy way is to just add the two lengths (without the corner involved at all) and then just add the port width....assuming you maintain the same width throughout the port. As for port/sub firing different directions, it will have different effects in different vehicles. What type of car is this going in?

I'd say go with a big Q, 15'' or 18''. I just got my 15'' Q temporarily running the other day and it sounds nice. Tuned to 33hz
