Test tone at 38hz on music, peaked at 44hz. Scores on the left are sealed on the dash and scores on the right are meca (meter was on a stand on the passenger seat) I was pretty happy with no tuning at all really. Wasn't really looking to max out the db's, just wanted a base to test the sp4's against when they come in.

Well I'm swapping out the box for the sp4's anyways. Will just throw them in and get metered to see how they compare. Will be switching to sealed boxes, hence why I ordered the sp4's. I want my back seat back. Was funny the guys at the shop were talking about climbing in the port since it was so big.

I don't see why? Fi's specs for the sp4 say 3-5cf for the enclosure. The box is currently 8cf so it falls within the fi specs. I want to keep the variables as few as possible between the two set ups.

So I found a place that's less than an hour away with a meter. So any tips/ tricks? What sweeps/tones should I take? Never been metered before so this will be an exciting experiance for me.

I know I loved my zcons and I loved the Fi subs I've had in the past (bl, q) So I believe this statement to be true. Why are you switching? Simply put, so I can go sealed. After football season started for me realized how much not having a back seat sucked. And sp4 seemed like the best option without having to switch out everything else. answer above. I just sold my 800prs and will be picking up the 80 in april

if you can deal without a double din and nav the pionner 800/880prs would be great choices but lack some of the features you want. If you can wait till april I believe it is the 80prs will be coming out with bt, 2usb ports, aux port, ta, dual 16band eq color display among other features and I believe it will be around 320ish
