GHETTO!!!!, wonder how long they have these bikes before some one jumps them. All you'd have to do is just punch them, and BAM free audio and it's already got wheels for you to ride of with.

Awesome first car, brings back memories of when my buddy and I flipped his parent's land rover.

I would go with the w7, if it's enclosure is a pound that sound. It should be what your looking for in the sub stage.
-
List goes on and on, just find some that do 2000-2500rms at whatever ohm load you get for the BTL's. Just curious do you even have the space or the BTL's yet?

Someone really wanted one so here it is LV510!!!

lol cut a bigger hole for the motor to clear, and then cut a hole for the speaker. Then cut that piece in half down the circle and then put it under the speaker. DONE!!! -
I did this last night, was looking at a VW golf GTI 1.8t and then I started watching all the aftermarket turbo upgrades.
-
All you need is 4 18's and you get the DBBBBBBBBBBB's, no need for space.
-
It would be a good match with the BL's, you would be pushing it with the SSD's.

Glad she is doing alright after being born that early.

Welcome, I dwell in the spring 1960/jersey village area.

Well, if you planning on running 3500-3800 watts. Which I believe the new sundown 3500 does, I'd get aleast a 240alt. You'll probably need at the very least two nice sized batteries. I bet that since it's a domestic, you could get all the way up too a 300-350amp alt. Only problem is the higher you go, the lower the idle amperage is. Not really a big deal, I suppose if your not competing or anything so you should be fine.
-
I'd go with the BL, because to be honest most people getting a system started. They want to be the loudest, biggest thing, on the street. After a couple of years of that you'll come back and start wanting something that sounds better and blends better with music.
-
Well, they can be wired down to that, just that most amps aren't stable that low. The ones that are stable that low, the warranty doesn't cover it.

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=1&I=22 In that diagram the subwoofer they use is dual 2 ohms. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=2&I=22 In this diagram each subwoofer is dual 2 ohms. I think you need to read up on Ohm's Law first to understand what people are trying to tell you.
-
Yes, it's possible with a SINGLE dual 2 ohm speaker. In your case the installer, told you he wired it to two ohms, because that is the lowest ohm(resistants) you can go with both speakers being wired to each other.
-
You can wire a SINGLE dual two ohm subwoofer to 1 ohms. If you have TWO 2 ohm subwoofers, then the lowest would be 2 ohms.
-
If you get a DMM(Digital Multi. Meter) you can put the leads on it and figure out what ohms it is. If it's dual two ohms each coil should read around 1.7-1.8 ohms.
-
A very good sub for the price, sound very nice. I think they blend well with music, from my experience with them.
-
Dual two ohm subwoofers can be 1 or 4 ohms lowest being 1 ohm.
