Hey guys my friend is thinking about picking up one of these and i just have a few questions - What is the RMS on it and how much would it be able to take? - What is the recommended box size/hz? - How does it compare to subs like re sx, hc, fi ssd/q.. etc? I would get the new arsenal but the RMS is only 500 and my friend wants 750-1000.. if you dont know the answers, then its all good. thanks for the help

My friend needs a single 15 sub setup that will perform nicely off 750-1000 rms in 3 cube ported box. He is trying to spend 200$ or less on the subwoofer. Probably going to get slightly used or new, but most new are out of his range. Ive been thinking RE SX, FI Q, Fi SSd.. something along those lines. Would like your recommendations. Thanks

Lol well yea it cant blow itself. Im just suprised that off my rf501bd one of them blew. they are rated 350 rms and i was only feeding it 250 rms at some times :-/. only had the sub for about a month. now im not sure if i want to replace it or go a different route.... Suggestions?

The bolded terms are exact opposites and neither of your enclosures are geared towards one or the other... However, the 12's have the cone area and since you are tuning higher should be louder. For an SQ setup I prefer the lower tuning of the 15. Yea, i know what you mean how neither are pure sq, or pure spl. my friend has the 15 and its loud and sounsd pretty well. i am the one with the 12s and im going to have a box built. might try to get it to be 3.8 cubic feet. we both have the same amp haha. but his 15 will have better SQ? The setup in the better box mixed with the better front stage will have the better SQ. So i got my box yesterday, 3.8 cubic feet tuned to 32. Couldnt wait to hear it and i find out that my right MAW 12 is blown. awesome.. now i dont even kno which is louder until i buy another. I only had 500 combined rms powering both 12s so im very suprised and disapointed that one blew :-/

a 15 prob wouldnt fit in my trunk, its only 15 inches high. and i already have 2 12 maws, but they are just in a real ghetto box. im in the process of getting a box built for me, just need to get dimensions and everything. thanks for the opinion though you could angle the front of the box yea i already have 2 maw 12s though lol. i thought of that too, but that was after i had my 12s. im getting a box built so we will see what the outcome is thanks for all opinions

Hey I am just wondering what would be better for SQ and SPL.. 2 x Maw12 in 3.6 cubic foot tuned to 32-33hz OR 1 x Maw15 in 3.0 cubic foot tuned to 30hz 500 RMS to either the 1 maw15 or 2x maw 12, so power is the same for both. Anyone have a decent answer?

I put the MAW 15 into my basket and everytime i try to pay for the item via paypal or credit card, it will not go through. For the credit card, it says your order failed. For paypal, i try to login and it says click here to retry or return to homepage. Any help as to why this is happening and how i can fix it is greatly appreciated.

he had a small amount of these. idk about the 15s
-
but 350 rms each is the best rms to use?
-
well the sealed is above recommendd size, but i have heard that these perform much better in ported boxes. my ported box is right around the recommended size, but not tuned right.. i am probably going to first see how they sound, and change the enclosure if i dont like the results. 250 rms to each should be sufficient to power them right?

will they sound good in 3.5 cubic foot prefabed box? i think its tuned to high 30s.. and i know the recommended is 28hz..
