that amp does not seem to be strapable. so no.... well.. you could get a O scope and try to match power but that would be silly. also i that amp is a mono block, and 400X1@2 ohms @ 14.3

on the slash series jl amps BEFORE powering you must present a load... so put a speaker to it... but rca's to it.. and then power it up. if still nothing... flip all settings, and turn all dials

you can use a saz 3000d on it.... its called setting... and headroom is your friend

your not understanding. hes not telling you that you need an 18... hes telling you that your problem is NOT THE SIZE OF YOUR SUB.... so the IDEA of needing to go to an 8 inch sub to get "tight" bass is NOT correct... the box you have does NOT match your goals... and the TYPE of subs you have leaves much to be desired.

i dont know if u can underpower btl's. they have a higher efficiency than almost any comparable subs which means they should get louder with the same load than any other sub in their class. X2 you dont have to FULLY power any sub... many guys here will tell you that. and BTL's are the most efficent subs in FI's line up... watt for watt keep inmind lil buddy... you can allways go up from there... if run 3000 watts for the pair... you will enjoy it.. no question about it... but if you think perhaps you may enjoy more power.. then you can allways ad another saz 3000d.... either by straping or run one sub per amp... dig it..
