excalibur with all options.. cheap and if install correctly is a nice alarm. http://cgi.ebay.com/OMEGA-EXCALIBUR-AL-150...A1%7C240%3A1318

well 17-18 volt is a 16 volts charging system as 14 volt is a charge for a 12 volt system as far as it application to the sax 100.4 i have no idea.
-
if you can get your charging system up to par the amp will play @.75 ohms like a champ, the amp if i remember correctly are warranted wait warrentied... anyway 1 ohm stable.... but have been tested and burped at half ohm and lower. but at .75 you will have impedance rise plenty. i played my saz 3000d at .75 daily never a problem

-
space is key with this build it seems... so optimas are NOT the battery for you!
-
Critical Mass UL.... was gonna buy 3 of these used... then i started adding up money needed for amps..... went another way!
-

-

2nd battery help
jonbearsmt replied to dtcharneski's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i do just as you stated.... i have a run of 0 gauge off the front cell... fused.......... fuse... rear bank.... and on the ground i have dual 2/0 to my frame in the rear of the car.. and then the big three.... you will be fine... some people say make a ground run.. but alot of people dont... i think its just diffrent strokes. -
@2 ohms the 1500d is not rated for the kinda power it seems that your looking for... if you do think along the sundown lines, and i hope you do.. thenmake your ohm load 1 ohm.. and you will have head room on the amp and it will rock that sub.. just watch your gains. oh and the little think you said about an amp being "over powering" for that sub... you can put saz 3000d on a single 12 bl... its all in the settings. just cause it can make 3000 watts dont mean ya gotta use 3000 watts!
-
is tc even open anymore? i thought they went out of bizz. and if i recall they were more like 2 grand a sub
-
there is a member with a acura i think it was, any how he had 4 ssa icons on a saz 3000d and i think he liked it awhole lot...

not true at all... -
wait for jacob.......... if i had to guess going off my install it would be some where around 3 cubes ported on a single 15
-
you only need one topic for one question.
-
the bls are GREAT subs... and match with a 3000d shit you will be on top
-
but you are biting off a huge mouthful.... are you new to the game?
-
more subjective questions it depends on the install
-
i would go 1 bl 15 with a sundown 1200
-
the bl's are more musical imo... but the nightshades hammer so hard.... both GREAT subs. i think you need the bl's
-
its more in the install then cone area alot of times.... plenty of people around here have more cone area then i have but im much louder.
