indeed profile has allways made over rated amps... but like i said.. i looked for reviews and test results on this amp.. and every one was happy.... all test results state rated power produced... and every one seemed to like this amp for a low budget banger.... shocked the shit out of me! to the OP... in an SUV you should be able to easly tell if that sub is stressing... this sub is gonna sound great..
-
Apparently the h/u i wanted doesn't fit.

they make a single din dash kit, that is not for reducing the size of dash... but to allow the deck to be adjusted out for shallow dashs. -
single 4 allday.. what are you looking to do?
-
from what i find they make a lil more power then that... the amp sub combo will be fine as long as you keep the amp from clipping... also no one can really tell you how it will sound... as it depends on many many things... box, car or suv, music, installer...
-
take the sub from its box.... go just about any where... you must know someone with a multi meter... someone that works on cars.. the local audio shop.. the guy next door..

Universal: This option gives you the choice to later chance the impedence of your voice coils. You can change from dual 2

sub to amp
jonbearsmt replied to casedawg350's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
that depends what ohm load your sub is... dual or single and what your goal is for ohm load at the amp. -
LOL those are my old 18"s. :bigclap: Out of those that you posted, I would go with the RL-p. You could also consider the Mach 5 18". were you gonna give him a series or just a brand

junk, the problem with breakers are, after use and, over time they get weaker, even during use when they heat up... they rarely are what there rated at as well... so I'm just gonna go back to fuse'n it, probably the Knucon on I linked above, start @ 300A, and go from there.... and the stinger volt meter I got keeps giving me problems to... working half the time... any good meters out there? on a side note... I can not really state how much I like this amp. So clean... tight, oh, and loud. more than enough for my two, 15 TC-3000's just played with the x-over's on it a bit... made a noticeable difference we have covered the CB and getting weaker... but i have CB's.. and i dont pop mine.
