your not going to get a full 2200 watts from that amp musical wise on a daily anyhow.... just cause you have 5 million jigga watts dont mean you need to use 5 million jigga watts even it you were producing it.... headroom is key...... IMO

sounds great im loving it.. im going thru all my cds and re discovering all my albums .... LOVIN THIS SHIT!!! i know its hard to get the feel for the way it sound thru vids.. too many variables , my mic your pc speakers. so on so forth.. but just know i would not record it if it didnt sound amazing!! i thought about doing another set in the rear too... just for fill of over all sound.. but i dont want to mess around and throw my self off. still lots to think about... the sad part is..... once again i feel like im done with this lincoln.. and perhaps its time for a new project .. in the words of pooh bear... untill the day it does....... you may not have an issue... but as we can plainly see the OP is not a audiophile ... so dishing out advice that encourages rooks to try wreckless things with thair amps with no need, results in mistakes that are not necessary. to the OP sure it may work out just fine on .5 ohms.. but why??? the 3500 D will give those subs PLENTY of power, at 1 ohm .. infact... you will never notice the 500 watts or so you will gain by running the at below 1 ohm. you will only void any warrenty you may have and also maybe perhaps even shorten the life of your amp. IF YOU DONT NEED TO DO IT THEN WHY DO IT?? your going to buy new subs anyway.. so just order dual 1's and do the thing right.. just my 2 cents... but WTF do i know.

i dont think you even need 2 of anything.. infact i would do 1 good 10' or 1 good 12. in the right box,. it will be more then you expect. and you can still some in on budget,. i did a single SA 12 on 500 watts in a buick roadmaster for a friend of mine.. he could not belive the sound.

these are VERY directional tweeters.is there not on axis its a waste of space thats whats i have learned so far.. thats the only reason i even build a pillers.
