box is tuned at 29 . my head unit is at 50 hz, my amp i can not tell you for sure, because i can not see it.. but its low. . i am not a sales rep .. but any one that knows me can tell you when i like somthing.. i spread the gospel to anyone willing to listen... infact most times at car shows you can catch me talking to a group of guys huddled around my trunk.. and im just telling them about what i run.. because they asked. funny story i was at work today.. i do route sales.. so i was out of town good ways im in the box trunk sorting my parts for my next stop and i hear " hey yo big jon!! " i look up like WTF. and there is this guy i donno who he is yelling " ah yo you gotta any subs for sale right now? " lol yeah ... my SUNDOWNS.. he said whhhaaaa..... i told him.. " i got something new for ya " he said he will get in touch with me to hear them... but again.. i donno who the hell he was.. my point is.. when im jazzed about something you will know it!!

30 to 39 seems to be my sweetest spot with as much power as im throwing at these things.... if i dial back the power the subs will go lowwwwwww 25 hz or so with no problem.. its pretty fun .. everything moves slowly

so after the first video we went back to his shop. and we started talking about them,.. and i just had to make him listen to a few more songs.... some songs that i normally would NOT demo.. just to prove a point.. of how fast and how wide of a range they truly cover, heres how that went

ah i see, i was asking because there seems to be this mythical super power thought about 4th order and 6th order band passes, that just makes me laugh, in no way are you guaranteed to be "louder" or have better results with a 6th over a 4th and so on..... in all honesty its more likely that one would yield worse results, because 6th orders are hit or miss, and with that many cuts measurements and formula involved alot of shit can be off in a hurry, and if you do well at it and you succeed then hope you did your math and your ratio correctly because your peak/range can be way off .. demanding a change in the music you may listen to and defiantly the tone you burp at , half cocked rant complete.

pretty sure the depth of the SA is more then 6 the sundown E is a great sub and works very well in a small sealed box, i recently did an install on a 13 f 250 super duty with 2 E 10s on a old memphis 1000 watt.. sounds bad ass.88

rest assured he did.... you may have to be of a certien age to understand im about im to say .. maybe not... but IMO ... for the price to performance and quality of the sub.. you can till hes not doing it for money... but rather the love of the product...... ill elaborate imo. any other company would charge ALOT more for this sub .. alot. and they would get it.. no problem... and they wouldn't even have spend the 2 years DSS did researching, planing, tweaking and modeling that DSS has..... only a man that has a deep passion spends as much time and focus on something only to damn near give it away truly has a deep passion and love for the hobby we all love. im truly shocked and surprised out of the performance these subs are giving, im telling you guys im beating the shit out of them.. im doing everything you should not do to a sub if you want it to last.... and its taking it..... the few that know me can tell you .. i dont lie, and i dont sugar coat shit.... these subs are rated at 1800 i think... im running a NS1 on them DIRTY AS SHIT!!!! my gain is almost all the way up, with a touch of bass boost... and my head unit is plus 2 on my sub stage.. im not only clipping the piss out the subs.. but im over powering them too... if thats not enough im also unloading them about once a day..... i play them until they get stinky, and when i touch them they are so hot the dust cap is soft!.... and they keep trucking.... im very impressed. and i have ran plenty of high end woofers.... im talking double or more the price per woofer now keep in mind im in no way telling you to buy them and do what im doing to them, i straight up told DSS that i will need re cones before i ever installed the subs.. because what i planed to put them thru im doing to this so yall can rest assure that your buying a good product ... i know what its like taking that leap of faith on a new or un heard of/ un proven company..... but i like doing it... know that i also bought the first run of subwoofers sundown ever had... shit was scary.. but i was glad i did.. and i still have them. i can say this... i have ran the almighty BTL N2 ... and i prefer the ethos over them.

i was going to touch on that but i figured i had already said enough...... and im drunk so i was not sure that i was conveying my self well as it was.... but your exactly right.... he came out as a company that boasted them selfs on selling a great product cheaper then " the other guys" (sundown) .. but some how quickly change into selling a premium conservatively rated high end audio selection..... with a price to match the claim... funny to me.

what more could a bass head ask for!! an amazing sub with a friggin payment plan... and hes not even charging a vig!!! yall better jump all over this shit... i always see people asking if companys offer such a service, and when i was a youngster i wished there was a payment plan for bass...... and now its come true... good man here.

the amps them selfs are fine... only because Kevin has NOTHING to do with how they are made..... they are regular run of the mill Koran amps..... the only think that makes them a skar amp is the slightly different heat sink case and the skar sticker.... the problem IMO is giving money to a moron. a proven lair, scamer and douche bag its litterly like this...... say there is a local ford dealership that is owed by a real piece of shit...someone that is known for doing shady shit and being less then honest....... the focus your looking at is still a fine car... only because that asshole has 0 to do with the manufacturing and or designing of the car its self.... but at the end of the day you would still being gambling by purchasing said car from THAT caliber of man.. because when and if you ever have issues.. it would truly be sketchy trying to get any help/satisfaction in getting the issues solved. somthing that honestly makes a company like sundown stand above and beyond a company like skar... a man like me is willing to pay a little more because jacob has proven him self over and over to be a MAN of action... his customer servise alone is worth the extra money.... any issues you feel confidant it will be taken care of.... if you look at the topics in the skar sections kevin can not.. and will not respond to any issues. or questions about the products he sells.. look at the sundown section and every single topic has a response and a honest answer another analogy.. ever been shopping for a used car... and the sales man is clueless about the car he is trying to sell you ? is stumbling over his words trying to tell you about a car he knows nothing about.. telling you simple things like.." yeah its automatic, its blue" and every question you ask he can not answer? i leave.. you cant sell me something you haven't a clue about... thats skar. my point is... their are plenty of company's selling almost the same amp.. for almost the same price, and you can feel better about your purchase ... kinda like spending a few more buck for a diamond that you know is not a blood diamond yeah.

thats why i was like whoa, when i seen the pics of you two on facebook... because you had shared your past with me over beers, and i was glad to see that you were able to bury the past ... how do you feel about it now? feels pretty good. Concidering the length of time that had passed, It was time. I miss my nephew and my sister. We have a lot of catching up to do so I think I'm gonna plan a solo trip back pretty soon and hang out with her and her son.
