im not following your logic, if you run the BL's you will run a 5500 watt amp.. but if you run the ZV3s you will only run a 3500 watt? and IMO you dont have enough electrical to run at half ohm.

i would find a old jl 500/1 and thats ALOT of amp for that sub IMO. you could very easily use a jl 250/1 both would give you your power at 4 ohms and they have a regulated power supply
