The people from rockford fosgate said for every 1,000 watts your alternator needs to pump out at least 70a. If you find out some info on a good alternator brand that will do atleast 250a, let me know. I keep on asking in a couple of different forum and get no help

What is a good alternator brand to look into, and what are the bad thing that could happen if I upgrade my alternator?

Has anyone ever ordered a refurbished amp? How did it work out for you? And would you buy one again?

I was planning on purchasing a fully loaded 15'' btl and wanted to know if I could get a couple suggestions on what amp I should purchase. I'm looking at the 2-Channel XXV Colossus (1 x 3200-Watts....Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms)-$660.00 or the hifonics BXi 2006D (2000-Watt x 1 RMS @ 1-Ohm)-$314.00 or the memphis mojo 16-MC2000D (RMS Power 2 ohm (Watts) 2000 x 1 @13.8V)-$880.00 or the Sound Streem PCA3500D PICASSO ( 3500W x 1 @ 1 ohm)-$480.00. The reason I ask because I've only had experience with the memphis amp and was impressed but as you can see its alot more expensive then the other amps that put up similar numbers. So if anyone could help me decided which amp I should purchase that would take advantage of all the btls power I would appreciate it. Thanxs.

Depends on your budget and impedance needs, sometimes two amps are better than one, and sometimes it's the other way around. Just a hint for the future, watch if your Caps Lock is on Sorry about that, I noticed that to after I posted it but you replied to quik. The reason I ask was because I was thinking of purchasing 1 amp and sub first then later adding a second sub and amp or just purchase one amp that could handle both.

I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD FIT 2 15'' BTL'S IN MY TRUNK. IF NOT COULD I FIT 2 12'S? I wanted to build a ported sub enclosure tuned to 32 hz. I ALSO WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE WAS SOMEONE I COULD PAY TO DESIGN ME A SUB ENCLOSURE? AND I ALSO WANTED TO KNOW IF HAVING 1 AMP POWER BOTH SUBS IS ANY BETTER THAN HAVING ONE AMP PER SUB (FOR EXAMPLE 2-2,000 WATT AMPS AS OPPOSED TO 1 4,000 WATT AMP?
