    Icon 10 vs Type r 10, did a comparison

lol...sorry but the statement of "also, the type r is dual 4 ohm so I hooked it up at 2 ohms and turned the gain all the way up, the birthsheet says 825rms @ 2 ohms" just makes me laugh...turning the gain up is a horrible conception of how much power an amp puts out and just guessing that 3/4ths the way up is about 700 watts cuz it sounds like in that area is not accurate at all. Nice try at a comparison though...No one in my area has even heard of SSA nor any of the other smaller companies.

    MTU Dodecasub

They are. oic...i guess its a camera fuxup...makes the top look smaller

    MTU Dodecasub

top part looks a lot smaller than the sides...all the sides should be the same size

looks like those onkyo tweeters when PartSexPress was having a blowout sale on them for like 28 cents a piece lol...its nice to have over 200 tweeters and a single midbass in each door

    Voltage not high enough

please disregard the post about buying a "voltage stabilizer" it is a piece of crap...all it is is a crapacitor that is overglorified...nothing fancy. doesn't do what it says it does. worthless and saying the hc2400's are the BEST hands down is a little overboard...yes they are very good batteries but there at a lot of other companies with batteries in just as good and better

    Capacitor ques.

caps don't "fix" the real problem...they just "hide" it

    Q gettin hot

    1.)also P = current^2 x resistance a.) say 1000 watts at 1 ohm 1000 watts = I^2 x 1 ohm Current = 31.6 amps b.) now 1000 watts at 4 ohms 1000 = I^2 x 4 ohms 250 = I^2 Current = 15.8 amps 2.) Now use I = V/R a.)for 31.6 amps at 1 ohm 31.6 = V/1 ohm V = 31.6 Put those numbers into P = V^2/R and you get 31.6V x 31.6 amps = 964.72 = about 1000 watts b.) for 15.8 amps 15.8 = V/4 ohms V = 63.2 Put those numbers into P = V^2/R and you get 63.2V x 15.8 amps = 998.56 = about 1000 watts this is with rounding some numbers so yeah the lower the load means higher the current and lower voltage for the same output power Correct me if I'm wrong about this

new vid i took at lunch....

its always funny when the bass starts but you have the bass knob down low...they person thinks it sounds pretty good and decently loud....then you casually slip your hand down and crank that b!tch up and watch em freak out haha...nice vid

question about safety of running a SAZ1500 at .5 ohm

if you are wanting a 16v battery than you need an alternator that can charge it and a step down for the cars electricals

    Cheapest amp

how big of an amp depends on your enclosure and its efficiency cheap is a relative term...if you want a cheap amp wal mart has some vr4 amps that are cheap and will make the sub bump

    Need some advice please

I was originally going to get the Sundown 1500D amp...but with my budget I couldn't fit it in...so Nine.1 it was. I'm happy though...I'm sure in the future I'll get a sundown amp...I am in need of a 4 channel badly though

    Need some advice please

I have a Nine.1 amp...I love it. Plenty of power. Pretty efficient to me...my stock alt and big three does fine with the amp at full tilt at 1 ohm...voltage doesn't drop below 12.8 volts. The Nine.1 amps seems more efficient than my friends Memphis 1000D. My first Nine.1 amp had a small scratch on it when i opened it up...I called up eD the next day and told me to check my email...I had a return stamp in there that just needed to be printed and slapped on the box...then three days later I had a new amp at my door...yeah they sent me a new amp before I even sent them back the amp with the scratch...thats good customer service to me. But this is the Sundown Forum though lol
