OK theres 2 ways to do this you could wire your + to your + and - to your - on the speaker then go out to the amp. or you could take each terminal off the speaker to its respective terminal on the amp. Personaly Id rather go with the first option

thank you the dude with 4-15" DD 9515 dident like it so well he only got a 153.7db , but his is ported Hella low, he peeked @ 37Hz im sure if he tuned higher he be hard to beat in a singel cab, with a cut bed... personaly Id rather peak low he just needs more power tho
-
not to mention you want the ground wire to be the same size wire as your posative

those birth certificates are a marketing ploy why else would the T1000 be rated at 1000 watts and have a fuse rating of 150 amps like a 1500 watt amp -
8g wire for your remote? I hope you have sort of a way to tun the amp off when its not in use. I would expect it to also short out if it happened to hit your ground
-
iff all but one poped the amp would come on I would expect but it should pop too once its capacity has been surpased
-
you may try checkin all your connections
-
yeah that amp isnt a joke its the real deal its no joke you need thick wire, an alt, and multiple batteries
-
ya the amps are very serious there isnt a damn thing wrong with overkill. If Im not mistaken they can draw upwards of 400 amps but yeah they are efficient for their size.

What Steve said.... What's your electrical upgrades , i.e. : Batts, Alts, Wiring? The 3000 pullls a **itload of power. Are you supplying enough power to feed it enough juice? Just one strong battery, wiring I believe is done. Everything except the alt. has been done. I do plan to upgrade but as now not yet, the lights are fine while driving it's just at idle they dim just a bit. Could that be my issue? Is this amp just very very power hungry? If I do upgrade my alt and still have issues is there anyway I can rma this amp as far as I know I don't recall any warranty, I'll read up on that right now. And what about the amp noise, driving me nuts! Jacob reccomends a 200 amp alt and atleast one Powermaster D3100 battery. Personaly I run a 200 amp alt a Powermaster D2400 up front and an Alpha Cell GXL180 in the back connected with a total of 6 runs of 1/0g wire 3 posative 3 ground. its overkill I know but I plan on adding a 2nd 3000D in a few monthes

what head unit are you useing? the amps seem to have very sensative in puts I run mine daily at 1/2 ohm and the amp sees a bit less than 9 volts on the RCA side and the gain is barely even touched
-
well that amp will run at very low ohm loads you may try turning down the gains on the amp I know mine makes a buzzing type of noise when its at a straight clip
-
ya but those guys with 4 18s now have to half the ammount of amps they can have so you still have a very good chance of winning
-
