2 1500d's strapped at a .5 ohm load for burps only
loudcav replied to Bdunn23's topic in Sundown Audio
I wouldnt strap them at 1/2 ohm each amp would see 1/4 ohm -
ya I believe they have the cavalier listed on their site its too bad they dont make one for the ecotech I had to go with Ohio Gen a couple years back to get a quality one
-
the Dude sells alot of Mass D garbage thats for sure
-
http://myworld.ebay.com/robotunderground/ looks like a few other companies might be pissed if they would look into him

*laughs* Yes, if the motor is made @ this size I will call for motor bracing in the instructions. Have also worked out some pretty solid shipping methods for future runs of woofers with a little expert advice. Should be able to get them to customers intact. perhaps wrap the woofer in a trash bag then use some spray foam in the box around it

when the final product hits the streets I bet it dosent look anything like that proto knowing you
-
honestly I wouldnt be afraid to run them inverted either its a very minor flaw that most would never notice Jacobs just very picky

the amp requires a 300 amp fuse
-
So say I wanted to run 2 of these really bad but I had 2 dual 1ohm subs meaning I wanted to strap them @ 1ohm daily (music). Could it be done with a 250amp alt, a Deka Intimidator 9A78DT up front, 3-Deka Intimidator 9A31s near the amps and 2 runs of 2/0? Plus with that much current draw...would the 300amp anl support that 392 amp draw ur showing? ya a fuse can allow mo0re than what its rated for then theres the option thats not supported by warrenty of not running a fuse

Im not sure if the mojo amp will take 17.9 volts he may have left it on too long
-
so when are you gonna trash the bass boost on the rest of the amps?

Just send them an email and dont use the sales one -
If those are the APX Clarions, then they are not cheap on the inside. Quality Zeff design used in CV and Arc's I believe. But the Sundowns are a more robust amp for sure, and the power output potential is higher for the Sundown so it is a quality step up. Great choice. he had the DPX ones the cheap ones alot of people bought

The victim all torn out progress from yesterday Im working on getting that piece on the other side in Im hopeing to get more done before I go back to work tomorrow not exacly the most motivated person at times its going to be alteast 2 layers on the sides and back and a tripple baffle I might go thicker on the dides depending on how these first layers go up this layer is pretty rough not really that square so I might have to go thicker to get what I want from it no big deal really its just the shape of the bare sheet metal sucks. and the gear

bout time you get rid of the cheap Clairions
-
well looks like the car is on hold for a couple weeks Im getting ready to do quite a bit of mechanical work on my daily driver Silverado its got a bit over 90k miles on it so its time for quite a bit of work time to swap out quite a few original parts I didnt buy any performance parts but it still should get quite a boost in performance

I wish.... I have to go to my nephews b-day party. ya I know Im probably not gonna be out for the rest of the year I offered to let an extreme guy run the one nightshade 18 Ive got here and to use the amps but I guess hes not gonna take me up on that

3 10 inch sundown SD1s -
well keep the remote for the 100.4 since they are the same piece
-
that is correct on the 1500 and 3k the remote controls the gain and wont allow the knob to take you higher than what the gain on the amp is set to
-
the wired remote on the 100.4 controlls the bass boost even tho its the same remote as trhe 1500 and 3000D Okay so the remote for the SAZ-1500D is a level control and the remote for the SAX-100.4 is for the bass boost. Is that correct? I just don't get that because the SAZ-1500D has a bass boost as well. ya. who honestly uses the bass boost on the 1500D?
