    12" Sundown Nightshade Special

It sounds good with lower power - we have three with 400 watts each in my friends vehicle and it's incredibly loud (he will be adding more power later on). I thought about picking one up now and running my memphis 1000D on it till i can get a saz1500 to run it, Im currently running one Fi 15 q off that memphis in a 3.2 tunned to 32 in the trunk of my civic, how would one of these compair? Should be louder. So it should be louder in about the same size box and same amp im running my 15 fi q to? I just want to make sure 1000 rms would be fine for now, it might be a while before i can get a saz1500.

    Possible Wall?

Since it is not your daily I say go for it! In a well built wall for the 2 Q's I think it would sound nice and loud, but I would try a little lower tuning. But I just love getting really really low lol Good luck with the install! What do u think i should tune it to then? My one 15 in the trunk sounds pretty good tuned to 33 and gets pretty low. Also whats best, port on top or port on bottom?

    Possible Wall?

Well right now im running one 15 Fi Q in the trunk of my civic. The box is around 3.2 after displacement and tunned around 33. I got it ran off a memphis 1000D. It sounds pretty good but i was thinking about doubling my power and getting another 15 Q. Problem is i barely have enough room for one in my trunk. My civic is not my daily driver and i was possibly thinking about walling it and running 2 15Q's off of 2000rms. I was just wondering everyones opinions on this? Would it be worth walling with that power and how do u think it would sound in a good built box. Any help or sugestions would be appreciated, figured i would get some opinions before deciding on this, thanks

    15" FI Q sealed?????

Well im running my 15 q ported right now and ilike the way it sounds but i was wondering how many of u are running them in a sealed box? I know the ported would most likely get deeper than the sealed but i was wondering hwo much of a difference it would be sealed and what other peoples opinions on the q sealed are. I do listen to alot of rap thats why i went with ported. Was wondering everyones opinions on the ported vs. sealed. thanks

    Q or BL

I dont think u can go wrong with a Q if ur going to run around a 1000 watts daily, I just got my new 15Q going on a memphis 1000D and im super impressed. IVe also read on other forums were some people say it doesnt have the lows. Well if it doesnt I better get my hearing and feeling checked. Well i have never had a BL but I love my Q.

    Got my 15Q Today

Well I got my 15Q today and man am i impressed just by the looks of it, cant wait to get it in my car and see what it does, anyways have a few questions. Should i have recieved a bill or invoice of some type in case it ever needs to be returned? All that was in the box was the sub a stick and a FI card, also is there a break in period on the sub its pretty stiff. i know not to pout it in and just crank it up all the way but was wondering what other people thought, thanks

    FI Q v. RE SX

Ok, well thanks, thats the same number as i asked about before. my port height is 14.5 and its 3.5 wide that equals 50.75. which on re box cal. it has port area at 50.75, so i take 50.75 divided by my cubic feet and i get around 16 something, so i was asking the right question the whole time, thansk for your help.

    FI Q v. RE SX

Im looking at both of these subs right now, going to run one 15 in about a 3.5 tuned to 32 or so. I would like to get some truthful opinions and differences on these subs. I know price wise the FI Q is cheaper but what other differences do the 2 have?

    FI Q v. RE SX

Like i said i understand that part, the part i didnt understand is how to figure out how much port area i have.

    FI Q v. RE SX

Im trying to figure out how u get the Recommended 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot. ok someone else explained it to me so i understand now, i know that part that u just said. Ok then, since I answered the only question you have directly asked and you already knew the answer perhaps you should ask a different question. We are trying to help, but to help you we have to know what you need help with. I did ask a question i needed help with i asked (how u get the Recommended 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot.) With the numbers i gave. I gave the numbers from my design off re box calculator and i asked how do i figure out if i got the Recommended 12-16 square inches of vent area per cubic foot. I was told by someone else that u divide thre port area by cubic feet and i came out with about 16 square inches of vent area per cubic feet, so im pretty sure i got it figured out though, thansk for everyones help.

    FI Q v. RE SX

Ok heres all my figures. my net box volume is 3.02, my port length is 32.75, and my port area is 50.75. so do i take 50.75 divided by 3.02 or do i take 32.75 divided by 3.02? Pretty sure its the 50.75, all my numbers are off re audios box calculator.

Box for 15" Q for my civic

well taking the trunk lid off wont help on my car, its the trunk opening thats a problem not the lid, but i got a design finally that will fit if i take the back seat out to get it in. smaller than i wanted but it should work for now, its about 3.2 cubic feet tuned to about 32. Im sure i could of made a bigger box but i got the sub rear facing and port rear facing.
