First is a Crystal Mobilesound CMPX215. Just over a month of use, very very good condition. One very slight scratch on the cone as seen in the pictures. It's a six bolt basket which I thought was fairly standard but I could be wrong. But yeah I don't see why you couldn't. -C

Yeah, Farenheit had them listed as a 3", but in fact they are 2.5 inch voice coils. I will include one of the cones with the voice coil on it so anyone who recones them can get exact measurements to match them up with. -C

It truly is an amazing sub. I love it, but have had my fun and am trying a new Interfire sub. So the Crystal can go to a good home for someone else to love. -C

Anybody have any sealed number for a Q? Preferably a 15. FI's site says that the Q is made for good SQ and output in a sealed box; but everyone I see puts it in a ported box and gives numbers that way. Even The Great 12" Challenge by on ROE only tested the Q in a ported box. I don't get it. -C

I'm confused as to how a subwoofer can have a Resonant Frequency of say 18 hz, but a frequency response that only goes down to 25 hz. If the sub only responds to 25 hz, how can you know the fs is lower than that. The new Soundstream T5's are an example of this. I just don't understand. -C

I'd go for the Cadence amp definately. And the subs I have no experience with. -C

I understand the difference between free air resonance and the resonant frequency in a box. Back to my original question, if your sub can't even respond down to your free air resonance, how do you know that's actually the subs free air resonance? Is it just a mathematically formula on paper that states the sub "should" be perfectly balanced at this frequency even though we can't actually see it in action? Also, what is the point of having a sub that doesn't even respond down to it's Fs. It will never be balanced while it's being played right? Where's the SSA geek squad, I mean Tech Team when you need them? -C

I'm trying to get 2 12" subs with great SQ and good SPL that work in a small sealed enclosure. Are the arsenals right for me? -C

I had a Farenheit CK-15D running off a Coustic 600SE. I sold it with my car and it was one of the dumbest moves I made in a long time. -C

Are you wanting to measure the draw at a specific rpm range? Cause if you're just looking for peak or average draw, those should be printed on the alternator, or you could just call the manufacturer. -C

Yeah, it's actually their own logo, not the same as the Ascendant's. But I thought they would kind of be a good all around sub like Breakjunki was saying. Thanks for the info. -C

Wow man, very nice vid. I liked the look of those new Clarions when they first came out. I bet for the price they are very nice subs. -C
