Did you see the rear tire?

Here's an email I got from an "expert" on motorcycles. Sounds valid to me. > Looks like a custom Hayabusa to me, and its dropped suspension has earned > this style the nickname "Slamabusa." It appears that the wheelbase has > also been lengthened with a longer swingarm.

If that's a Hayabusa, it's heavily modified. The tail doesn't match, nor does the tire, exhaust, rear guard, etc. Just look at everything from the seat back and you'll see what I mean. Heck, even the tank looks much shorter to me.

Sundown Audio for me. Clean and powerful amps, good prices, and hands-down the best customer service anywhere. Jacob is passionate (and well-versed) in what he does, and it shows. -fp

What's the name of the company/guy who made those transmission box

Some of you more experienced guys may poo-poo the service that Pete provides, but I for one am a very satisfied customer. He took my requirements and specifications and delivered a custom design specifically for my equipment and vehicle. He was prompt, courteous, and obviously knows his subject matter quite well. I consider it money well spent. P.S. The box rocked my socks. -

Steve, you have a sickness. And I hope it's contagious. -

You want to grab the T-Box this weekend? -
Actually, it's very simple. I just took a hole saw and drilled through. Make sure to either do it above the tabs (on the back side) or centered between them. I actually had to bow the panel with my arm a bit while I screwed on the mounting nut. But it fits, just barely. Need pics?

LOL! I logged in late and read this thread, only to find everyone peeing all over themselves in anticipation. I suspect this was an evil plot hatched by Scott and Steve to build up sales!

I'm about to join AcidBurn in hell.

Do you have dyslexia? I'm not trying to pick on you, but the last time I accused someone of typing as badly as you, it turns out they had a learning disability. This is a serious problem, and if you suffer from it, I'm proud of you for overcoming your handicap. -fp

This is what others mean when they talk about you hijacking threads. This has nothing to do with SPL 12 testing, or Mach 5 Audio in general.

Ditto here, ordered a PKD1 last night and got the shipping info about 20 minutes ago.

Congrats! But...

He did a custom design for me, but I built it myself. Good to deal with, knows his stuff. I can't speak first-hand for the handiwork of his boxes, but the videos and pictures from his gallery suggest he does good work.

Actually, I can see where it would add some integrity. Biscuits by themselves aren't strong, but they increase the surface area for adhesion. I am not so sure. Being mdf likes to shatter when you cut it I don't think I'd try, in particular when the weak point is the mdf and not the glue anyways. The screws add integrity away from the joint and of course a biscuit would as well, I think the structural integrity you'd give up to get them in would be self defeating. I should have stressed could, not would. I'd like to think that using a quality biscuit joiner will cause no more structural distress than pre-drilling for screws. Sounds like another science project for audio-neon.

I still have some Polk DB400 coaxials for sale.
