Take the sub out of the box and with a low power signal going to it move the tinsel wires around this will tell u if its the tinsel leads or not if it starts working .

I have a 300 amp alt from Excessive and It's awesome never had any problems with it.

Well that would've been good to know yesterday! You've been PM'd

I haven't decided yet, most likely my Navi

Thanks for helping me get these up here.

I just want to know if his disability checks bought the vette and house in pics? -
I would like to know what voice coils I'd need to wire 6 sub as close to .5 ohms as possible thanks
-
I own 2 10" X's and they will get loud, I had mine runnin in a 91' Mustang HB off my SAZ3000D in a 3.0ft3 vented enclosure tuned to 32Hz and they sound good and hit tight. You do realize that Alpine doesn't make a 15" type X. You might want to check out TC's Audiopulse drivers. I ordered 2 15" Revos still waiting for them though!!

Alma Gates is like the only person I've seen break records w/ kicker gear. what was in her bronco 48 10's and 48 amplifiers. I'm not entirely againist kicker but If the budget allows I'd go with some different subs IMO.

So get 4 18" BTL fully loaded w/ daily vc and 8 SAZ3000D amps

Different Impedances

Volts X Amps = Watts. So if u have 2 amps 1 is rated at 1k watts @ 2 ohms and the other is rated 1k 4 ohms they'll both draw the same amount of current @ there rated load. What your looking for is efficiency. You just need to do some research on what amps are in your price range and how efficient ea amp is and go from there. -
need URGENT help with remote turn on/amp problems

Double check your batteries, some will still show 12 V even discharged. you might have a bad cell in one of your batteries causing electrical issues. If u have a wal mart in your area they'll run a test on them for free. -
Your absolutely right..but I was reffering to wickedsdimes and what he has not to my old setups. The CVR's would bottom out with my MTX 1501D's and the L5's kept cutting out because of the tinsel leads. I was only sending ea sub 750 watts rms and hes talking about at least 1K per sub rms and the kicker L7 are rated at I think 1k rms and 2k peak and I know they can't do that everyday.
-
? Meaning from past experiences with kicker L5's and CVR's that they're prone to blow. With 1K watts ea, yeah they'll last maybe 3-4 months before they start cutting out due to insufficent tinsel leads or some other flaw in design

because new car = new system it also comes with a beefed up charging system our family has bad experience with the taurus...wit hthe money we spent on tranny repairs, we could have bought a new car. I will mos def keep that in mind about the valves man...appreciate the info. mmm now that you and quikstang mention it, cop cars were beat on, and looking at the carfax report, the LX was treated much better (smogged regularly and stuff)...bah changing my mind! lol i just want to have a daily ride to work and school. add a system and bump away not sure if i really need that 300a for what im planning but for the heck of it: price? 225 + shipping. Over 500 new to my door I'll go take sum pics If u want

The Interceptor is gonna have a chity Interior but will have a H.O V8 with a little bigger alt to run the lights on the cop cars. Really it will come down to what are u looking to do to it. Also cops rarely turn off there cars when on duty, so your car might say 164K but the motor itself has alot more time under its belt. If u do decide on either of these cars I have a 300amp Excessive Amperage Alt that will fit either of them for sale

Well poop, hope not. I dug my last pair, wish I'd a never gotten rid of them. I need something for my truck on relatively low wattage. The rlp12 was fun, maybe I'll have to give another rlp a shot. I have a sundown 3000d sitting around, wonder if that would be too much on two rlp-18's sealed...backseat of my truck would have to go, but oh well I was actually going to do the same thing, I even have the saz3000 but I decided to go with the 15" Revos (against better judgement) instead. Please let us know what it sounds like when u get it finished yeah.
-
Running the 4 L7's would be a lot more efficient since it would have a lot more cone area. The thing to remember hear is that Kicker makes them so sooner or later they're gonna break.
-
Yeah, I wasn't trying to take anything away from your stereo. It looks incredibly loud, very nice man.
-
Alright, go back to break.com and tell me how many zeros are behind the 7 please. To the untrained eye I swear it looked like only 2 I don't know how up to par my math is but I could swear that it says seventeen hundred not thousand. Thats all I was trying to say.

Point here is *(8)*. u have 8 SAZ 1500's when I do the math it comes up to about 12,000 @ 1 ohm so how could u get off saying only 1,700 watts even if u were to rate them @ 4 ohms that would be 3200 watts. Please correct me if I'm wrong and If indeed I am wrong I'm sorry but I have a SAZ3K so I know that 1 of the saz1500 is plenty capable of doing 1700 watts by it's self. I've never seen 1700 watts flex a roof or dashboard like that.
