RF T-1000.1 or T-500.1

t1000 on better subs i say go ssa or fi -
good choices. i know your sealed for now but if/when u decide to go ported just remember that u got a fosgate amp so the ssf is just an on or off switch at 28hz so if you wanna tune lower than say 30 your gonna need an externaly regulated ssf

Why I am still dipping?
1two3 replied to Chris1309ny's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Check all connections. did you sand the paint off on your grounds? Rust can build up over time. And how low does voltage drop... lights aren't always the best indicator. -

Help me make a helpful users manual
1two3 replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
if you were to ask me id tell you to take a pioneer head unit manual and do just about everything the exact opposite. i find especialy the layout extremely difficult to navigate through -
pre fab boxes are crap and a custom one probably would cost more....but i would double check look up ram designs and dc creations and if that costs too much then why not do it yourself for about half your budget?

tried downloading but to no avail :/ is it possible to make them available again? -
Thank you! I'm such a noob! See I thought that the speakers and amp have to have the same resistance, but now this is starting to make more sence to me. Electrical really isn't my strong suit. Appreciate the help guys! Will not be returning the amp...I could care less about front to rear fade. It gives out about 240/channel at 2 ohms so 120/speaker

can someone send me the link to the website that u just plug in the numbers for amps subs and impedance's...i feel really handicaped right now i cant find it anywere thanks

So I'm gonna do the wiring for my 4channel before I actually get it and the way my h/u kit is designed my h/u has to be bolted in...u can't just pull it out from the front. So can I plug in the rca's in the back of the h/u and not have them plugged into anything at the other end or does there have to be a connection? Or should I just do all the wiring and just not plug it in the h/u until there's a 4 channel I can plug it into

Figured out to wire a .4 to 4ohms but still don't know if its safe to run at 2ohms on a 4 ohm speaker. Anyone know what could go wrong?
-
Pretty sure that Impious did answer your question and solve the problem. You said you had spent your budget, and you COULD swap to four channel after paying restocking fees, but try what you have with how they have told you to do it bro. These guys would not steer you wrong, I put my word on that.I appreciate the help but I don't see the answer in there. The amp is 2ohm stable but my speakers are only 4ohm stable so wouldn't that destroy the speakers? And the amp gives out about 160 per channel (this is the 2 channel) at 4 ohms divide that by 2 gives u 80/speaker. But only way I see to wire that amp is 2 or 8 ohms And id like to have about 80rms. and I don't think I would get that at 8. So the only option I see is to swap foot the .4 but I still don't know how to wire that to 4 ohms. Really confused :/

2 channel or 4 channel
1two3 replied to 1two3's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Do you have front and rear speakers?Yupp 2 front 2 rears -
I'm really on the fence about this one. Don't really understand all the possibilities or what u can do with both style amps. Currently only have 4 2 way speakers and no amp and I'm not really sure if I'll ever be switching over to components. If I don't ever make the switch..is there any difference between a 2 and 4 channel on just 2 ways? Correct me if I'm wrong but if I have a 4 channel with components I can connect the tweeters to 2 channels then the mids and highs to the other 2? I'm eyeing the fosgate t400.2 and .4 there's only like a 15$ diff between them but the .4 is out of stock and I don't really wanna wait.. :/
-
Front speakers are alpines s610's and rear are jbl got 628's. I got a fosgate t400.2 in the mail but I can return it for the .4 All speakers are 4ohm stable. Really don't know what to do now
-
Goals for now just amp them and budget is already spent on the 2 channel but I could swap it for the 4...hasent arrived yet
-
That blows...so would a 4 channel work on 4 ohms for 4 speakers?
-
Why's that?
-
Look at the previous post. You are correct chanel 1&2 do left and right front speakers chanels 3&4 do the left and right rear speakers. My head unit booklet is absolutely useless and doesn't contain those diagrams. Referring to channels 1&2 and channels 3&4 wouldn't that be a 4 channel amp? I have a 2 channel

im looking to wire a 2 channel to my 4 door speakers at 4 ohms. correct me if im wrong. each speaker gets its own pos and neg directly to the amp and right side gets one channel and left the other?
-
thank you! is there one that u can put multiple channels into the equation
