Yes, you still have to set the gains on each amp at the same voltage. If you read the instructions that came with the maxxlink it will tell you how to do that using a dmm if you do not have instructions simply unhook the RCA going into the maxxlink coming from your source unit and set the maxxlimk to test tone make sure you unhook any subs going to the amp as well as the wires linking the amps at the- terms simply take a dmm set it to ac volts hook the red wire coming from the dmm to the + speaker output on the amp and the black lead on the dmm to the - term on the amp and adjust the gain on the first amp between 4 and 6 volts . Go to the second amp and repeat again adjusting it to the same voltage you set the first amp the turn the test tone off and re hook up all connections at maxxlink and amp, Finally set your filters on your amps so they are above and bellow the filters on the maxxlink . Now set the input voltage on the maxx link to match the signal source coming from the headunit or source unit and then adjust the output gain on the maxxlink to an acceptable voltage.

Nice , I got a MLA for a chry only 2 out there and I got one of them, we tested at ESN My starting voltage use to be 13.6 volts due to my pcm w/ the MLA It now is 14.5V.

Thanks. I'm just half illiterate. Forgot to mention this before ,Use good shielded set of rca going into the maxxlink and make sure the path stays a way from the amps. We ran into a problem were the rca's on the input side of the maxxlink were pretty close to the heat sink of the amp and the subs would go out of control. Took some time to figure it out because we thought it was the radio we were using to burp the car,in the podium.

Sundown Audio takes three first places: Team Tremorz (1st place)in RX1 and (2nd place)in db5 .We had voltage issues all day which will be resolved by Mooresville NC event AUG 30th. Sundown also takes first place in M3 with one SAZ3000 and two AQ/DD15's can't remember what team the guy was with in M3 . Sundown also takes a first place in SQ can't remember which class I didn't judge the sq side may have been ssa team? Congrats Jacob and keep building them so we can slowly take over the spl world one comp at a time.

well i see nothing wrong, although maybe putting a bit more labor on jacobs end, which im sure he doesnt really need for the initial screen, but i think it would help in the long run, taking into context the amount that IF jacob chooses to allow a warranty with the amp, the seasoned people who have the ability to support the amps, and the freak problems that DO happen, can be resolved. however if the person obviously has no clue what they are doing, and it can almost be expected that within a short amount of time the amp will come back for a repair because the idiot fried it, why should jacob have to deal with the extra BS when the person was not capable of running the amp in the first place. then again, could be easier and run no warranty due to the application that the amp is meant for, which would work as well. I believe the point TRZ was getting at is that if someone wanted this amp with warranty and jacob did do a phone calling session don't you think they would just say "yeah i got alts and batts send me the amp with warranty" even though they didn't have it ??.. I think jacob should do a limited (30 days) or no warranty on the amp... Yes sir , you got it. I think a simple application and proof of alt/ batt purchase would solve some of the liability issues for jacob but not all .The amp will tell the truth when inspected by jacob once it would be returned . maybe a discount on repairs might help. Jacob will figure it out and I am sure the amp will be top of the line no matter what the warranty maybe.

I agree... I couldn't get him to budge about it on the phone a while back. Hopefully this will com about. Im down. seriously... I can ONLY do it under the stipulations posted... 30-40 up front pre-orders is what it would take. well, the way i see it, if they're out of the team, there should be a small screening process to determine if they are capable of even supporting the amp. but if a known competitor, then consider otherwise pending. dual alts, batts etc etc. if the person cant do it, then should be sold with no warranty whatsoever, and if something goes wrong they are responsible for any and all repair costs granted you may not have time for a screening process like that, whether it be through phone, email may work, but phone would be a bit more personal in terms of determining their knowledge of running a system and whether you feel they are qualified to support it. Yea like DNA or urine sample or how about a lie detector test or maybe an FBI background check.

I've seen David Blane do that trick

The sundown subs are nice try (2) sd1v.2 10" subs . they work well in smaller spaces if that is your concern. If you need an amp try a sae1000d on them.

i can dig that. i have been going through the same thing with some (non-audio) products i am developing. how about a pre-sale? i'm in for 2. There will be a pre-sale, I just need more time to gather capital for the 250.2 model. thats will be cool I would be interested in some 250.2 amps also........ Aloha x2

Does it come with the plaid like in the first pic.

i think that bat caps are close to useless.... to me! ok i kinda feel foolish. i have never checked my grounds for ohms...... how should i do that? Batcaps are great when space and weight are an issue

not to mention you want the ground wire to be the same size wire as your posative x2

$50.00 shiny dollars ,cash! lol

your installer ooooorrrrrrrrr ,maybeee it was a friend who installed it and not a installer sounds more like it. You need to go to a local shop find a certified mecp installer and have him fix the problem .
