Sunday Brandon and Jake pulled 151.6db @ the sundown show a.k.a Meca . . This morning at the shop, there will be a little trash talking going on , well I hope anyway. Brandon's truck had a problem w/ the maxx-link and he lost 2 subs .

    Titan Sundown Audio Install

Clean, but why pro3 on on sax100.4 and pro 2 on sae1000d, if the guy competes it may cost him points on install or was it a budget thing. Bostons have good dynamics , one of our customers/ team members have a set in a scion tc and it sounds great w/ only one set in front stages.

    Door Panels with E8s

Those horns are soooooooooooooooooooooo loud that it is a good thing they are in the kicks. Those things hurt verrrrry fatiguing with small amounts of power on them.

    Door Panels with E8s

the doors have o depth and the 8" sub is pretty deep .It was the only option to keep it functional as a daily. originally there were going to be three 8, two subs one mid and the tweeters (or sirens .j.k)were relocated to the kicks. it actually stages pretty well considering the rearfill is around 151db ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Brandon listens to it daily @ those numbers .

    Went to Car Toys today....

Some one who is worried about the industry should support MECP and other programs instead of thinking they know everything and have it all figured out . I as well have been installing since 92 professionally and understand not everyone is an installer or salesman .Don't get me wrong I believe there is a place for everyone and some are best suited for other carriers but I have seen some guys that know everything turn out not to know anything. The economy will weed out the bullchit installers, business , and manufactures . I think the proper steps are to 1: get a education in the field you choose 2:get certified basic to start and 3: help others starting in a carrier and be a mentor . As an owner our responsibilites lie in educating our staff and CONSUMERS both and most of all support companies that support us .I give a small level of respect to Worstbuy for at least training their staff somewhat through programs like the installer institute.May be very scaled down versions but at least it is the proper format to start a carrier . Finally I don't remember anyone going to a bestbuy or circuit getting a competition system or anything other that the basics.

X2 . Every installer , salesman ,or women starts somewhere .and yes, there is a learning curve like to know when someone is wasting your time. And the funny part is the one guy still bought something from them it may have been a register over, but future shops got the last laugh.

Playing with Big Boy Monster 15"

I wouldn't be so quick to down DD . they have a pretty good track record of breaking records and a 12layer coil , extra stiff cone , extra spiders ,and all the upgrades aren't exactly a stock nightshade. So with that said it is not exactly an apples for apples against a stock dd9515, wouldn't you say. Now take a upgraded 9515 and then It would be a good run against each other. With that said The big boy sub or nightstalkers or what ever they may be called in the end are a loud a$$ sub and can handle tons of power and will make a great sub for all levels of competition (especially for you guys in MECA).

    6 cubes after disp. for 2 15 nightshades @ 35

Just a small suggestion, it would not hurt to put a fail safe such as a fuse in line with your speaker(s). It could save you some money and headaches in the end. Not sure what this had to do with the original thread.

Sick thing it sounds good playing music. the 147 was legal on TL@ 4/6 on the windshield with high humidity and warm temps ,altitude is around 1360ft asl(it was raining all day). It will do a 150 db,new box, fall day ,lower elevation , bracing crew and some ear plugs to boot;)

You got 39 volts (AC) without the speakers connected??? usually it's around 6.5 to 7.5 volts ac at the terminals without a sub attached , @60 hz
