We have burped over 3000 watts with no issues on the BL. I wouldn't do more than 1500 daily.

For daily, I wouldn't risk running it below 1 ohm. The amp will do it, but it's just not worth it.

What fuse for cable from battery to Sundown SAE-1200D
thefordmccord replied to 8adk1d's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You will want at least 150 amp fuse for that amp. That is the smallest I would recommend. Besides, you should be fusing the cable, not the amp because the fuses in the amp will protect the amp. I think the biggest fuse you want to run with 2 gauge is a 200 amp fuse and 4 gauge is 120-150. -
Trying to get a sub recone, but can't reach anyone by email
thefordmccord replied to ls1pimp's topic in General Fi
Well, that was always my experience with them. I know that they always took care of me once I got a hold of them, but the lack of communication is the reason I no longer deal with them. -

thefordmccord replied to ls1pimp's topic in General Fi
This is normal customer service from FI. A month between responses should be expected. -
Hum, looks like i will have something to upgrade to this summer!!
-
That's what i was thinking. Make friends with someone just over the border.
-
Bed Sheet or Bed Spread.
-
Wow, that is a crazy deal for a beast of a sub!!!

Jacob Its Been Too Long Since One Of These
thefordmccord replied to theothermike's topic in Sundown Audio
Thanks you Jacob for all of your hard work. If you ever decide you need a full time sub tester and you can match my current salary, I would be willing to relocate... LOL -
With a little tweaking, you should be able to get a single 12 on a 1500 over a 140.
