Ive currently got a single 0 gauge wire from front to back batteries, Will adding another run of 0 gauge increase or help anything? Im thinking of getting another yellowtop . Ive currently got 2 yellowtops in the back. the big one and smaller one

Stock Alt, Hifonics 2500.1 amp, MB Quart 125.4 amp, with front battery, and 2 yellowtops in back. all 0 guage wires for power and ground. 4 guage wires to all amps 2 FI BL subs

I have 2 FI BL 12's hooked up to a Hifonics 2500, running at 1ohm. They seem to max out with my stock electrical (granted i have the big 3 and 2 yellowtops in the back) Am i getting the full power out of the amp? I hooked the subs to my buddies car who is running full electrical and 3500 rms and it was insanely louder. What can i do to get more towards his level or atleast max out my amp to give the full 2500 rms to these subs...

If you put your subs in his vehicle, then the difference is easily attributable to nothing more than differences in vehicle acoustics. If you liked the way it performed in his vehicle better, then either design an enclosure that performs better in your vehicle or purchase the same vehicle he has to drive around in instead. Without more information about how your electrical system is actually performing, we can't tell you anything about whether or not your electrical is performing up to par. Exactly what I was getting at. Well basically at full tilt on rap (Gain halfway up for no distortion) In the jeep, I drop to 12.2 average. Im running 2 yellowtops and a normal cell battery with the same specs of a yellowtop (just not a AGM) Big 3 upgrade, stock alternator, 1 strand of 0 guage power wire to back. The problem is that my voltage is dropping to low before the amp can reach its maximum power, so my subs are not getting full power... and he literally back his car to mine and we ran wires to his 3500 cresendo amp lol. closed the back hatch and dammmm was loud, easy 144-145 at quarter gain

I just put in a new box in my 1999 jeep grand cherokee and I reattached the back battery, In doing so I noticed my voltage is at an average of 12.6 with little bass. My voltage is going crazy and im not sure what is going on. Normally at full tilt on rock, the voltage plays at 12.8, But now its at 12.2...... My Interior lights are now feeling the power drops and dimming everytime a bass note hits.....as before it wasnt doing that......any ideas?? My alternator is working i had it checked today..... Also might i add that with the bass off my voltage goes from 13.6- to 12.8....with no bass...only mids and highs......wtf?!

Is your gain on that all the way up??

I actually found the problem....... 1 of the 2 grounds i have on the back battery didnt have a grreat connection on the top post, so i moved 1 of them to the side post and now my voltage is stiffer now, back to normal thank god. and yea i thought it was the alternator for awhile there too!

I am Thinking about reverse mounting 2 FI BL 12's and was looking at some researcha bout wiring and reverse polarity and what not. When i mount them in reverse should i reverse the polarity aswell? ???

So Ive tried EVERYTHING to get rid of this engine noise in the tweeters... New RCA's, new Grounds, Away from Power Wire, EVERYTHING!!! Can you all give me any ideas of what it might be?? Otherwise i might have to get one of those noise cancelling thingies... Im starting to think its the Amp

yea that looks tight bro, but ive got planned to just put them in the wells not the rims because thats tooo hard for me. lol Call me lazy, i just dont want to spend any money from what i can just use that i already have. But foreal man thats some kick-ass shit dude.
