Bell's Oberon it's so **** good and from Michigan, if you haven't tried it it's like Blue Moon or Shock Top, but better, absolutely delicious. This is why God created man, to brew and drink beer like this.
-
It actually would be since the basic board would be the same - one would just have to adjust the amp within the limits of the SAE amp connected. Oh hell yea!! I am so for you doing this it isn't even funny!
-
Would the new SAZ-1000D be strappable with the old SAE-1000D? I am assuming no since you would more than likely be changing transistors to make it a SAZ model and stable at .5 ohms, but figured I would ask. I think you have found a winner!
-
Thats what I ran into, don't get me wrong, the SAE-1000D is an awesome amp, but I am not a huge fan of the looks, the SAZ and SAX lines are just so much sexier.
-
YES!!!! Like the others have said, that is a great solution to the problem, would keep a very well rounded SAZ line, a well rounded SAE line and a good start with the NS line, I think it is the ideal solution to the problem.

Can't stand Pale Ales, way too bitter for me and not the beer taste I like.

Learn to use the camera's macro function Jake

I know there has been some problems with RCA cables and the amps for some reason. I am considering either of these 2 sets http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KRY4.4M or http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.c...rodID=KARSS4.4M Will they both work and would you recommend one over the other?

My thoughts exactly, but there are some crazy people out there, lol, they're generally called "Audiophiles" and they also think vinyl and tubes amps sound better
-
Great choice. I am definitely buying a mini keg of it later in the week.
-
You can't hear a difference - I just like these particular Scosche cables since they have a strong jacket that is hard to damage and plugs that never cause issues with any amps You don't want to get in the argument about not hearing the difference, I agree with you whole heartedly but someone who advocates $2,000/ft RCAs and speaker wire will come in and argue to the death that you can hear a difference.

As much as it is awesome to see these larger amps, what I want to see Jake do is what is best for Sundown and what will allow the company to stay in business and expand their customer base.

Too bad, but thats what testing is for!

There is something strange about the tooling owner of the 18" 12-spoke... I think the guys @ Fi would be able to tell you more about it. As for me, I was able to acquire the 6-spokes much easier for the small custom run of 18s. Oh, ok. Yea, Fi seems to be the only company that uses an 18" 12 spoke. It's obviously not a big deal, I was just wondering since you, Soundsplinter, and almost all others that use teh 12 spoke on their lineup use the 6 spoke for their 18" drivers.
-
Just a question, I have noticed that most companies use that 6 spoke basket on their 18" subs instead of the 12 spoke. Is there and particular reason like cost or basket strength that keeps companies from using the 12 spoke on the 18" subs?
-
Tht sucks hardcore man, hopefully you'll be able to shake down the tire company some, just threaten a lawsuit
-
Ok, no big deal, just thought it would be an interesting idea to try.

Would a Nightshade recone fit in a SSA Icon motor?
-
Hey, I am an EE not an ME, lol, I have DMMs and O-Scopes, not calipers
-
Got any pics, I would love to see the install.
-
Sadly I have no calipers. I am sure denim would know, I may PM him this thread.
-
You're right, darn, that would have been an interesting frankensub, lol.
-
Too small of a gap? The Icon has a decent sized gap.
-
Poor drivers.
