I cant find the 7000 on there site but i found the 8000 maybe this will help maxxsonics thanks ..I will look at that -
nice...which amp is the pic of?
-
I have owned several different class D full range amps...they dont all sound the same and but most are pretty decent... I am currently running class G/H amps ( Zeff design...think ARC KS series but cheaper...same amp basically but cheaper) ....and it to me is better than class D but efficient like class D I am sure Zed will make a top notch version of whatever he makes..

the trade in value would be based on what the market is selling for not what some guy paid at the rip off shop wouldnt it...? I mean if he uses Ebay for a guide then pays 75% of that then it wouldnt be too bad......and he still makes some off the front end of the sundowns... its basically exactly like the car business...only he wouldnt have a nada book or blue book to easily look this up..... shouldnt be too hard for more known brands and amps.....if they are decent....... I think its a good idea and I dont see how it could hurt but I do see it as work....but that would be due to looking up the prices.... if someone paid 10x what an amp was worth and tried to trade it in then thats just their tough luck. if their is an issue with the trade then he can just so no...or give less than 75% of sale value for it.... I like the idea.....cause I need to move some PPI ARTS and I want to try a Sundown 4 channel..

I bought one...its a little rough but is supposed to do 200x2 @ @ohms...400x1 ....pretty small....anyone use them? I am also looking at a NAK PA502 50x2 .....are these ZED NAK's better than or same as all the rest of the ZED made stuff? I know damn near for a fact that the Planet Audio amp by Zed was better than the US Acoustics I once had...... anyhow... I got some Zeds again... -

they made many models....they square solid white ones or the gray ones....or black....they are different from any of the other PA amps and cant mistake them for the others ....I just found out from Steve that they didnt make the Autotek mean machine 400x...wonder who did? anyhow...you cant have my NAK..haha -
I have never owned any of the white mean machines..there is a small one I am looking at now..or else I will buy a USA series gray amp off one of the forums......basically I want the most Zed power I can get for the money....

I have always regretted selling my 2 US amps T700's and when I got the chance to buy a 400x & 600x I took it....I havnt got them yet but I was wanting to run them like so... 400x bridged and running a JL Audio 10inch..model # unknown...its in a wedge box they made as a unit I think.... 600x running 4 coaxials for a 2ohm load.... or should I swap them around? I dont want the sub to overpower the entire system...and I dont want to add another amp either... what you guys think? these are still good amps made in USA I hope .......I know US AMPS has undergone many changes....
-
Now that P706 is a beauty....I bet....haha.....I wish I had that one still.....nice amp.....
-
email Zed and ask...he is the only one going to know or have a clue....
-
on the amp there is a port with 2 prongs on it...says REM X .....take a speaker terminal and connect it to your remote wire and plug it into the port....never seen it like that before...
-
ok...got all ready to turn on the 600x I just got...did....nothing...then looked at it again....no remote turn on terminal...where does the wire go to turn it on.... the manual online doesnt show anything on the amp connected to the remote wire off the deck...or else I am not getting the obvious...haha.. cant believe I have to ask this...
-
nevermind..I got it
-
I got my 2 US AMPS in today...thought I might get a 3rd for sub duty although I can get by with the 2 amps I have...wondered if a USA50 would be enough to power a sub...a 10 inch...
-
call me way behind with them in the last 3 years...can I get a quick course on whats what?
-
I got a JL audio in a JL AUdio enclosure...one of their JL boxes...I forget what they called it...4ohm load...
-
Older 400x & 600x....these were still good amps , right?
gentlejax replied to gentlejax's topic in US AMPS
hahaha.....I plan on taking care of that soon as I get my amps squared away.....I originally was doing it for simplicity but soon I will take some time to install some 6.5 comps...... I have more issues switching amps than I do with speakers....the coaxials actually do quite well for what they are... any more opinions on the 400x & 600x ? -
I have read a million different posts on the various ways to set it....but ....I just wanted to get an idea where you guys have yours set at.... I am running a Pioneer 880prs 5 volt deck and the gain is currently straight up 12 O'clock position or halfway.... I havnt had it installed a week yet and barely spent any time in it yet....so its still in adjust phase but I at this moment can turn the deck up to max volume and its not distorting to me...so I am wondering if I can turn the gains any more or if I am already past where it should be at... I really hate amps not having clipping indicators ...it would be much easier to set with them
-
I installed it today and well I am a little suprised how much I had to turn the gain up... I have an Eclipse 8 volt deck and I figured I would leave the amp all the way down...well that was wrong...I had to move it about 1/4 to get any volume..... With gain set to 8volts I could turn the volume all the way to 80 on the deck and it was still rather low... on a side note ...one of the channels is blown so I am going to have to pay to have it fixed or get the seller to take it back..I just got it last Monday... but anyhow....I was expecting to not have to touch the gain with the 8volts deck...thats really the only reason I have the deck.... was I crazy? ....right now I have it set about 1/3 way clockwise....
-
you are absolutely right....I did say it was blown...I guess I should keep up to date with my posts all over the place... it wasnt blown after all it was one of my RCA cables from the deck to the amp... amp is working fine right now sorry for the confusion on my part not yours
-
AMP IS NOT BLOWN.....never thought it was.... I switched decks now anyhow...nothing is wrong with the amp. It does have BB upgrade and will eventually be for sale when my outlaw gets back to me.
