Location? Dallas/Ft. Worth, Waco, Round Rock, Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, dare I say Houston? Looks like we narrowed down a date. Now lets get a location. I'm up for any of the ones I just named.

Will there be a matching 4ch and or a 2ch amp in the near future? Thanks.

What I was leading towards, is that air space isn't as much of an issue as cone area and keeping the front wave from canceling the rear wave. In a car you'll never get 10x Vas, unless you use a 6" in sub. So, in a car you'll never have a true IB setup. Go for broke, run 2 18's. My 15's get decent volume for no box, sorry I haven't had it metered. Per the amps specs I'm shooting 240 watts to each. I'm happy.

Impressive score. With some different wheels and a little nose work you could make that bug look like a 40 Ford. -
First, get as much cone area as you can. Second, make sure the front wave is as best you can sealed off from the rear wave. Those are the only rules for IB in a car.

24th or 25th works for me.

HA,HA. Good one. You need to be a little more slick and leave both hand visible when you light the candle. -
I'm trying to update my signature. I go to update profile the edit signature. I input the new info, the same about of lines. I hit save changes. Then I get this error: "[#10211] You may only use up to lines of text in your signature" Any thoughts? Thanks

That's the kind of car I'd want to drive from San Antonio to El Paso. The Aston, not the Prius. =P

Welcome. You're not alone. I myself am also a family man of about the same age. At time it seems impossible to keep up but the info is all good here. Enjoy your stay.

With the voice coils in tandem this design is more efficient than an iso-compound design. In addition the box would be a straight forward ported box. None of this box in a box crap. I'm not sure the air spring in an iso-compound box this really worth anything. I'm sure you can do something with it, but it would take extensive testing, meaning big $$. The result would be such a select box that it probably wouldn't work for any of us. Is there another spider in between the two motors to avoid coil rock? That's got to be one hell of a pole piece. Is it vented? Definitely need a side view. please read the question again . and the coil rocking is indeed also something I worried about... The only similarities is that you have two motors driving one cone, but that is about it. With the iso-compund setup the two motors are still driving two cones, so one is not exactly concentrating all the motor force on one cone. In addition there are the issues on how to deal with the air spring between the two cones of the iso-compound setup. With extensive research you might be able to have an iso-compound box match the output of said driver in a ported box, but at what cost? Two drivers, a complicated box, research and testing? I'll pass and just try one SG1 in a ported box. Simple enough. Mind you this is all based on theory coming from a lurker. I am curious to know what industrial application would require such technology? An electric solenoid from hell? =]

I'm glad you guys updated that prototype to what you have pictured. =] It looks unreal. Pity it all goes in the box. Now for my signature question. Will this beast be available in a 22" =] Awesome work.

A spoof on the same concept. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=269-486 Sorry, I couldn't resist. =P

New Mach 5 Build - Zero Power Compression

It seems auto sound has made a full circle returning to its roots in pro-audio where 6" voice coils are the norm. Unless Mark has something sinister up his sleeves?... Watching... -
I've got a pair in3.5ft^3 each tuned to 28Hz. They rock the house, then again it is a home setup. They're running off of a Behringer EP2500.

Just after the president was inaugurated the held an online town hall meeting where people would submit questions online and he would answer them live on TV. He joke because he really didn't want to address the issue but so many people asked about it that he did. It was about legalizing it. In short he said never. As for calling the number I wouldn't it's probably some sham to get numbers for telemarketers. Ha, ha suckers who called. Recently it was said that California was thinking about it as a means to balance their budget. As usual the Fed govt trumps the state so Enjoy the weekend.

I'll be there. As a spectator. I'll keep an eye out for you guys.

You win some, and you lose some. Unfortunately, today you lost. Sell it and cut your losses. Use your money for school. Focus on school first, after wards you wont have to worry about buying used. Trust me. Sometimes I wish I had focused on right things. Then again I take meds, so what do I know. Best of luck.

He exited stage left, just like Anna Nicole Smith. What a bummer. Next on e-bay ticket stubs for what would have been his last concerts in London.
