This year's meet was a success. Thanks to those who made it out and many more to those who made it happen. Till next time, happy bumping.

Alex was another that was able to make it out this year. His innocent looking Crown Vic packs a punch. Two 15" AudioQue SD 2.5 lets everyone know when he has arrived. Powering his 15" is a Sundown 1200-SAEv2. The mid's and high's are handled with a Phoenix Gold Ryval amp.

Oscar is another familiar face that made it down from Austin. Here is a shot of his Voyager. Oscar stepped it up this year replacing his Kicker L7's with a pair of Fi BTLs. He also added some neon lighting to his box to highlight the Austin Skyline artwork on his plexiglass cover. Nice work Oscar.

This is BigJon's new to him Navigator This is the business end of his setup. Here is where the party's at. BigJon's setup is like a mullet. Business in the front, party in the back.

Another new face to join us is Vic. Him and his girlfriend made it all the way from College Station. Vic's Durango is more than it seems. I dig those headlights. Vic opted to replace his rear seats with a pair of Cresendo 3k amps and some Kinetic Batteries. Got port area? Vic was voted the loudest at the meet. An unofficial metering session produce a whopping 149db at 38Hz. Vic's running a pair of 18" BTLs with RE Audio re-cones. Many complained of headaches after demo-ing Vic's system.

BigJon's buddy Ismael was able to make it out again for this year's meet. Ismael was another one of the few to get metered. It's hard to imagine this stock appearing Caddy is packing this custom work in the trunk.

Cadillac Matt made it out with a few friends. Here is his Caddy in all it's glory. Soak it in fellas this might be the last we see of this legend. Matt's looking to move on. We wish him well.

A new face that made out was Steve Mead. That's Mead without the "E". Steve rolled in style with this Texas sized Silverado. I was able to catch Steve's eight's in action. Those little eight's were putting out Texas sized bass thanks to the Sundown 3000 powering them.

Another familiar face that made it out was Edward from Austin. Edward's Infinity is clean and cool with a hot Tangerine paint job. The interior is clean with matching tangerine highlights throughout. Edward changed his setup this year to a TC Sounds Neo sub in a 4th order bandpass box. Here we can see the 4" Aero ports venting into the cabin. Edward also fabricated a sweet cover for his amp with a plexiglass window to show off the innards of his US Amp Here is a little behind the scenes on the ports of Edward's band pass box. Stay tuned.

Nice little car, but get ready for the banana and school bus jokes.

I've got a CD with sweeps and tones.

There will be food available for purchase, so we should be good. Thanks though.

i thought the same things as in about the burgers... but.. hes not charging us to hang out there... and hes alowing us to have this many people out there making a ruckus because he stands to gain a few bucks... IE food and drink sales.... so i think bringing a grill would kinda be a slap in the face.......... as far as sodas.. i dont think he would mind... but beer must be sold from him.. as TABC has laws about that. and again the respect thing.... this guy is pretty happy about this.. he was already talking about making it an anual thing..... so i hope it goes well.... Sounds fair to me. I just mention it because I had made arrangements with Steve Mead to bring a grill and food. Cant wait this will be good.

Sounds like a plan BigJon. I've got one question. Do you think your bar owner buddy would mind if we brought a grill and grilled our own burgers? I'd also like to add since the systems have to shut down at 3:30 maybe we should just me there at 11am to maximize our play time? Everyone, thoughts and suggestions please, we're a week away.

That sucks. People that act like hustlers get on my nerves. Terrible he has your number. Maybe you can block his number?

So when is the last time one of you saw one of these? Any thoughts, questions, Impressions, rumors, folk-lore?

Dang Jay-Cee. Kindergarten? LOL. I was a freshman in high school. Just getting into car audio at the time. Too bad I didn't do anything worth a damn till my recent IB setup.

That's probably the only vehicle that GM offered with a hood longer than what's on my 70 Monte Carlo. That Caddy is pretty pimp. I'd cruise it FWD or not. -
How to cut q-logic kick panels for speakers?
onebadmonte replied to b34tBoX's topic in General Audio
These pods are made of abs plastic. If you score the plastic with a razor then bend it, it'll break at the scored line. For the mid I drew the circle. Then I used a razor blade to score the plastic where I drew the circle. You don't have to go to deep. I used a 2" hole saw to cutout the center. Then I scored some lines from the outer circle to the center. I followed up with some channel locks and from the center out bent the plastic till it broke at the scored line. It's time consuming. Hope this helps. By the way, use a hole saw for the tweeter.
