Going a different direction on the evo, so don't need this anymore. Still havent had time to search for original bass knob. I can include another knob in case I don't find original. $125 plus shipping firm

So Friday I did a thing....ordered a new Jeep. Needless to say im pretty stoked. I ordered it with the Sound+Leather Upgrade. But did not opt for the $700 430 HU. Now im looking for a decent in dash to replace the 130 radio. Im just not quite sure what to look for...the last HU/Processor i bought was about 6 years ago (Alpine d310+h701) Thoughts/Suggestions/Links Please! nice, but that may come later, need the in dash first. Stock radio is just the basic lcd type

From what iv read and heard, i hear its not a very good unit. Any other suggests? Looking to spend around 300-400 if possible. REALLY would like to replace the 360.2 as well. So open to suggestions

As of right now the only thing i could see myself upgrading is the front stage power, maybe adding another 800.4. We have been having issues though (possibly ground issues) System all in, ill hit a bump and the right side will go out or crackle really bad until i either hit another bump or a turn up the volume (odd). Yanked out the sub the other day and the leads from amp to sub box looked like they had been put in a microwave. Waiting on some 10g wire (using 14g, lines doubled up on the sub so no issues there, just amp to sub). Since i took the sub out iv not had any issues with they right seit cutting out and/or crackling. Not 100% sure what the issue is

Need suggestions for my Evo X. Double Din suggestions. Less than $600

The long and the short is, gains turned up too high, caused the engine noise and floor noise. rewiring the POS 3 different ways. ended up using the crossovers and the 360. not able to use the 360 to set my cross's but still sounds good

The Box design i used from a guy from SMD didnt pan out so well, i honestly think the port length was longer than in my plan.... It sounds like it tuned to 42hz instead of 32hz. That being said im hoping SSA forum can help!! Keep in mind id really like to keep the box either as wide and shallow or flat/wide/deep as possible. Basically im trying to fit the golf clubs in the back, either in front of the box, or on top. 12" Fi Q on ~1600RMS tuned to 30ish hz. thanks for the help fellas/ladies

heading to louisville tomorrow to rewire the system as active and eliminate the xovers. From there ill be able to play with the 360...hopefully

I mean exact wiring for this...i feel like it wasnt done correctly bc we are incorporating the crossovers into the mix. STOCK HU. Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 Crescendo 800.4 Crescendo 1500.1 2 sets of Mezzos. 4 tweeters and 4 6.5's Fi Q D2 Im not sure why, but my guys that helped me out with they system incorporated the crossovers into the system. I thought the 360 could be used instead of crossovers. If someone has some time and would really like to help a fellow car audio fanatic out, how would you wire this setup? I would love to see a diagram drawn out!

800 gains are okay i think. i might need to turn tweets down a bit tho...once we rewire everything ill check back!

I ran active in my old system and it was way more user friendly im sure ill get it figured out, i really appreciate the input fellas. Great info here. Ya idk for some reason yesterday and today there has been wayy more engine and floor noise. Rewiring everything next weekend. so we will set the appropriate grounds as you mentioned above

Im assuming its the gains on the 360 but sub was way over powering the mids, so i cranked the gains down. Im still getting some engine wine and floor sound,, not sure how to fix it. Next weekend we will be getting rid of the xovers, maybe that will fix it idk

Switched out the rcas as I mentioned above and already sounds way better than it did. At lunch I'll hook back up to the 360 with my laptop.

I'd have to go look. It's very odd to me. All 4 channels connected via y splitters which go into front L&R on 360. Sub rca from sub amp to rear L&R on 360

what about the other 4 tweeters and 4 mids?2 sets of mezzos 4 tweets and 4 mids. Fade balance back to front not an issue at this point

quick question as well... 360 outputs are Front Rear Sub Center Wouldnt it make sense to have Channel 1&2 (tweeters) go into "front" Channel 3&4 (mids) go into "Rear" Sub Amp, use RCA splitter 2-->1 go into "sub" on 360
