Well I'm going to be putting together something to go in the back of my Dodge Quad Cab. I've taken out the back seat and I'm gonna put together a sealed setup to the specs of the sub I purchase. Amp: Soundstream PCA2000. From what I've read..the amp will do 2000 X 1 @ 1 ohm. Maybe just a tad more..but I'm not betting on it. I'm more geared towards SQ...so of course I was thinking about the Q(from what I've read). I began to question if my amp would actually be able to feed enough power to the Q's so I've become more interested in the SSD line. I figured I could save a little money, add the cooling option, and KNOW that I'd be feeding them enough at lower gain levels and still maybe have similar sound(my ears may not be able to tell the difference). I'm more or less new to the bass game...give me a couple sealed 10's getting 300 watts each and I'm impressed...so I have no idea what to expect with the next setup.
