No way in hell that's gonna fit in a molex plug You use the factory speaker wire for the mid and either drill out two empty holes in the plug and use primary wire for the tweeter or break one of the tabs that hold the plug in the jam and run the wire there and epoxy the plug back into the jam.

It's slower than Hyundai's big body sedan.

New Q 12 barely plays and bottoms out on low volume
Quentin Jarrell replied to Chris Duncan's topic in Fi Technical
You miss understand. They claim that your Fi is fucked. Common sense on their part would be to unhook the Fi, slide in a pre loaded enclosure that they KNOW works and see if there is a difference If it counts for anything, which it doesn't bc everyone makes mistakes, I was a MECP master certified installer for 6 years. -
More than likely had your filter set too low.

And if the amp is hooked up to a factory system via a loc the loc could be hooked up out of phase giving you the same effect as the sub being out of phase. -

I'd assume that this retail shop deals with some type of preloaded enclosure, JL or Rockford. Even then I would expect at least one of the employees would have a system in their vehicle. Did they take the time to slide in a different sub/box to see if there was any difference in output? -
I not sure of any free program that can calculate them. Maybe horn responce? What I can tell you is that "ideal" port flare rate and diameter will change depending on the tuning frequency. I calculate the chamfer and pole ID the same way you calculate a port in a box. I however have spread sheets and Lua Script that I use along with Mathcad.

About 10 years or so I believe it was Biggs and someone else build a SQ car (maybe a civic) with a dash made completely from grille cloth.

You got a while.

is this a good price for a ported 15'' subwoofer box

If you are not concerned with weight built it from MDF. MDF is cheaper denser and resonates less than Birch. -
Try riding in a ford transit for 12 hours straight. I'd rather sit on a 5 gallon bucket.

I don't know Ford has some really shitty seats.

Condensation can cause junk build up inside the transfer case and trans. Even if the units are sealed moisture can still build up in the oil. Our lab does analysis on lube oils for manufactures.

I agree that THD is a good add to the meter and could be very good for marketing. But could also back fire with more educated users (like another company that makes "detectors") if comparisons aren't provided against other known reliable units. And three questions I have are 1). What harmonics are measured to give the lumped THD 2.). Are they "weighted", Some harmonics are not percieved due to the way we hear, some are wanted in some instances like even 4th order harmonics which gives us a higher percieved SPL output, and then there are the higher harmonics like rub and buzz, and noises such as coils rubbing. 3). How can the meter determine the differences between actual distortion and things like phase error which in a car environment is highly possible where a tweeter might be a few inches off from a mid causing the meter to show a false high THD reading.

It better be cheap then. 100 more horses and a 1 second slower 0-60? It'll still have shitty chevy interior too.

I assume we aren't missin much.

It's not taste. It's just the generation. The same type of asshats that think Honey Boo Boo and the Kardashians are entertaining.

Specific Box Dimension Questions or The Math to figure it out
Quentin Jarrell replied to CARgoB00M's topic in Fi Technical
Air is a fluid as long as you keep the volume the same, and the port area and length the same they all can be any shape you want. You measure port length down the center of the port. So if the port is 2 inches wide you would pop a line at one inch and measure from there. -
sup ?Usual, tired of others screw up's, and constantly having to correct it or absorb it.This will be the downfall of the U.S...KNUCKLEHEADS.
