Milled white rice. I think he's been running it for about 15 years.

A bit hard to judge the size. But that is a 1,400 cubic foot bucket.

(4) 12" Ported Enclosure

spent a bit of time today and got the baffle on. -
They excused me. I have a vessel for Cuba to inspect today and I'm the only person qualified to inspect it. Plus I would incure a huge monetary hardship.

Mother pucking jury duty.

If I needed a sub to fit in a moderately small enclosure with a low f3 with minimum passband ripple I'd get the SP4. IMO it's the best sub on the market that fits that criteria.

Is this a 4th Order Bandpass??
Quentin Jarrell replied to ToXicFrOgXx's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
First off don't call it a 4th order bandpass It is a sealed rear chamber bandpass enclosure. The order is in regards to the frequency roll off. And it will very. 4th order means that the roll off resembles a 4th order butterworth filter, 24db/octave. Being the design of the enclosure will alter the roll off it is not correct to call it 4th order. The sealed section determines the Q of the enclosure as well as the bottom roll off. Just like a sealed enclosure. The ported section dictates the high end roll off There are only three reasons to use a bandpass box over any other type of enclosure. 1. You are limited by the avaliable radiating area in the vehicle. e.g. Porting thru a ski hole. 2. To create a ripple in response to increase output at a certain frequency for SPL. Normally anything over 3-5db ripple will cause unloading issues under musical conditions. 3. Your amp doesn't have high and low pass filters. -
Ethos 12 and 15 pre order

Typically with international trade the buyer of cargo uses a "forwarder" that has a presence in the country that handles the loading or unloading process to the buyers specifications. They basically organize the operation and deal with all the formalities needed to ship the product, there is a ton of legal work involved dealing with multiple local and international agencies. They legally have power of attorney for the client. It's a very complex procedure especially dealing with companies outside the US as most all governments have their hand in the privately owned companies. China is pretty strict. Anytime we go to do any work there we have to get written consent from the government and the company I work for is the "referee lab & surveyor" for the Republic of China. Nothing passes their boarders without us inspecting and testing it first. -
Me either. I see all kinds of nasty shit daily. It don't matter what food you eat. Weather it be rice, corn, or lettuce it has all been infested and not photosanitary. All my meat and veggies come off my property. All my hams, sausage, and bacon are smoked in my smoke house then aged in my underground salt cellar.

No worse than pork. You do know that pigs are raised on multiple floors with grate floors for a reason.

Sure, I'm mobile so I can't view it but go on google patents. You can find JL's patent on the technology.

And when you are eating all that salad. Look at the nutritional info on the dressing. If you are using more than a few tablespoons of anything other than oil and vinegar based dressing you would be better off eating a whopper.

better then fries or tatter tots or some shit like that right?? its a empty filler. and thats why the im looking at it.No. 100 gram serving white rice 330 calories 72 grams carbs 100 grams or French fries 275 calories 36 grams carbs.

The designs are exactly the same. There is a reason why the area of the opening is the size it is. I highly doubt it's forth order. JL's boxes normally have a shallower rolloff. Without modeling I'd guess its more than likely closer to 2nd order.

Rice is about the worst thing you can eat. Especially white rice. It has almost no nutritional value.

It works very similar to THX's enclosure technology. The one they are suing Apple right now for infringement on the iPhone and iPad.
-
It couples the driver and the vent. It's not a bandpass enclosure. They have owned the patent on this for a long time. Detailed description of how it works can been read in the patent.

Ethos 12 and 15 pre order
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
I've been told everything was to be on the vessel on the 30th. I'm waiting on word from my supplier on info. Precision is to have the coils complete on the 18th. Good news though I deal with cargo for a living so I have the ability to monitor the product real time from the time the vessel leaves birth all the way through customs. -
It's not very complicated unless you have a medical condition. Eat less and move around more. And not less food but less calories. Simple math is all it takes. If you consume less calories than you use to support life functions then you lose weight.

How do you conclude that with out knowing what subs

Sure it's the motor and not relays or the switch
