maybe they'll have some better tech in a couple decades I know several people that were implanted as toddlers and hear better than you and me. The ole lady has one and hears pretty damn good considering she got it when she was 16

Hello everyone im new to the forum.

I'd suggest you purchase yourself a copy of loudspeaker cookbook and educate yourself on enclosure design. Band pass enclosures are deigned with four considerations in mind. Pass band, gain, S factor, and Qbp. Other people may have through trial and error found a "ratio" that they like but this does not mean that that ratio will create optimum performance or the type of performance to fit your needs for said drive. -
Anyone need a job? Willing to work 36 hrs straight?

Where did you but the batteries? Most have a decent warranty. -

LIST OF ETHOS ENCLOSURES
Quentin Jarrell replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
You will want to put a vertical brace between the subs. One 3/4 piece of wood 18.5 x 3" would be enough to help keep the baffle from flexing. Your gonna have 120 pounds of drive there. -
I'm surprised alpine hasn't said anything about the double top plates with the faraday ring sandwiched in between.

Over hang is the length of coil from the bottom of the top plate to the bottom of the coil. Or the top of the top plate to the top of the coil. The top plate is 25mm. The coil is 70mm long. So 70 - 25 = 45 / 2 = 22.5mm -

Don't use 32mm Xmax to calculate port area. Use 23.5mm which is the coil overhang of the driver. Coil overhang is the definition of Xmax per Richard Small which who's formula is used in that calculator to estimate port area. -
Ford seems to be putting that Aston Martin look to their whole line up. But if it got upwards of 450-500 hp I'd buy it if price is reasonable.

Speaking of horsepower. Anyone read the info on the new Gen Mustangs? The GT is gonna have more hp than this years and the ability to fit a 9.5 tire stock with the new rear end. Might make for a nice high horse DD if they don't want an arm and a leg.

Be best to start a build log to insure everything is done right. -
Check out Thompson Motorsports for an LQ9 shortblock. No need for the longblock unless you want to swap in LS3 cylinder heads for higher compression, but on a FI (forced induction) engine your wouldn't want that.Just send it to WoodHouse and let Mark work his magic. Just think of it as money. You can always make more.

Too much input can fry the amp if it doesn't have a protection circuit. -

No, it's akin to having the volume knob turned to a low level on the head unit. Most amps have a range starting around ~.9 volts so in theory you'd be able to get close to full output from the amp since you would be at ~.6 volts. -
I would run 3 if you only run a 5,500 and only if you can get 5,500 watts on the odd ohm load. If you can't get the full 5,500 with an odd ohm load or if you run two 3,500 I'd definantly run 4. No problem helping with the box design. Would not be worth it to build it for you as something that large would need to be freighted.

They had a Chinese place around here that got shut down bc if that.

A milliamperes is one thousands of am amp. The PAC piece increases by a factor of ten. So you'd be at 6 tenths of an amp if I figured in my head correctly? -
The 12 volt one is accurate. It is with in a few decimal places compared to when I do it by hand. I use it for all my enclosures as it's quicker.

Mainly the smells and the texture. That 'fishy' smell or the smell of tuna turnes my stomach a bit and kills any interest in it. I have had fried haddock, large mouth bass and cod in the past and that with a shit ton of lemon and a beer batter is ok at best. J Grilled swordfish? Soak the fish in milk over night. It'll kill the fishy flavor and won't destroy the meat texture. Being from Louisiana we eat a ton of seafood. And the family does quite a bit if deep sea fishing in the gulf.
