Subwoofer wire size?
Quentin Jarrell replied to pmureika's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
At 2k? That depends. Is the sub .5, 1, 2, 4 ohms? There are plenty ohms law calculators out there. -
Subwoofer wire size?

You need a much larger conductor for a run of 40 feet than 4 inches. -

Use ohms law to calculate current then calculate what you need based on the conductor's length. Guessing what you think you need is no good. -
OD 18 7/8 " Cut out 16 5/8 "

If you alter anything on the sub warranty will be voided.

I have docs on right now. The soles have a habit of delaminating. Rubber surround glue fixes that problem though.

It's the myoglobin oxidizing. As long as it's not slimy or smells it's safe to eat. It's more than likely due to high humidity in the fridge especially if an unopened liquid was in the fridge or the meat was placed in the vegetable or crisper drawer. We see this a lot with facilities that don't properly control humidity. Aged meat can get pretty nasty looking. Meat aged 2-3 weeks looks almost rotten before trimmed. This is why roast beef, pastrami, and other beef cold cuts have that interesting iridescent sheen correct?A combination of this and refraction of light caused by the brine used on cold cuts.

No but you can bet your ass it'll have a square gas filler so you'll have to go to their gas stations to fill it up.

I use academy's winter ware. I'm sure it's not as cold here as up your way. But if I'm doing much of anything in weather below 30 degrees with 80 percent humidity I sweat my ass off fully layered. A coworker uses the same and rides snowmobiles in Jacksom Hole evey year with no issues.

Nope. You'll be fine with less. Just keep it above 75 per sub.
