Is it legal to swap drivers through out the year? When will finals be held? -
No, I live in south east La. I have a client out there I go to about 10 times a year or so.

80 cft of CLD? Good lord. Did no one point you towards SDS? $423 before shipping is enough CLD, ccf, mlv, thinsulate, and ebr to do my whole sedan.

Both FedEx and UPS have packaging departments that can tell you the best way to package.

About 8 or 9 hundred shipped. Not a single problem.

Cover the enclosure with cardboard. Add cardboard corners. Then wrap in stretch wrap. Never had a single damaged box.

(was Slightly disappointed) now Impressed with my XCON 15!!
Quentin Jarrell replied to hdrox88's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
If you aren't happy with the transient response from the xcon (which by the way is due to the box). Do NOT buy the Magnetar. You won't be happy. -
Even by the video you tell how freaking horrible the super tweeter sound. Can't understand why people use them.

Unbolt it. Put a bead of caulk on the mounts. Let it cure and reattach

I plan on building a new 4,000 ft^2 shop at my house next year. I might have enough room to squeeze in a CNC router and a room for wrapping boxes.

That's an ancient Chinese trade secret.

Sub placement on baffle & port location
Quentin Jarrell replied to Rail's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
You will never hear the difference but you want the sub as close to the vent mouth as possible and as far away from the vent end as possible. Having the driver and vent next to each other also normally puts them the same distance form you. This causes superposition making the system louder. By having the two say on different sides of the box it is possible they would be different distances from you causing superposition to cancel the sound waves to some degree making the system not as loud. As far as the baffle is concerned ideally you want it non symmetrical, again anything symmetrical can increase superposition. Depending on what your trying to do this can be good or bad. For the most part the only thing to concern yourself with is to try to keep the sub from the end of the vent so it doesnt prematurely unload. -
You sure 18 inches talk will fit. I own a 2010 and 2013 and all I can get is 16

You don't argue with scientific tests being performed thousands of times a month by chemists with PhD's. Then again like always your probably right.
