It's just a normal ported enclosure 8.5 net tuned to 35 herts. The port is just flared 45 degrees 5.25 inches from the outside of the enclosure, which is the width of the port. I have seen a little db increase doing this. I guess it would be equivelant to rounding off a port with pvc like in a spl vehicle. The port lenth is measured from where the port 45's inside the enclosure .

So you sent them back without a RMA number?

Our mom's family owns a cabinet company. We've been around tablesaws, routes, planers, and jointers since we could walk. That's why we got beastly woodworking skills. -
She wanted a new woofer so I gave her this 12. I'll get some more pics after she wraps it.

yep, Sub-Marine undercarriage enclosures. That one had 48 6.5s under it

That's cause I'm a BMF. But she gets the credit for this one. She really did do all the work. I just supervised. I'll have more pics maybe this weekend. My parents are divorced so she goes back and forth and stays witheach of them. We have an extra room here for her and she stays here one week out the month, she won't be back over till next week. -
Is the sub playing or just rumbling? Pull your RCA's out of the LOC to make sure the rca's don't have a ground loop. If the sound stops it is most likely in the LOC. Try turning the LOC down and readjust you amp gain again to see if it stops. Line output convertors create a lot of hissing and it bleeds through when you turn down the volume on your headunit.

Voltage dropping help please

make sure you have all your connections tight from the alt all the way to the back. I had a tahoe do the same thing because of a fauty street wire 1/0 gaude ring terminal. -
the kitty litter said roughly .75 per side gross

Jacob you probably don't remember me but I'm Quentin Jarrell. My booth was right next to you at Nopi Nationals in 06. I had the black tacoma with all the speakers under it. Here's a pic of your booth looking through my demo vehicle.

you might have a bad rca shorting out

never mind disregaurd that post

looks like you are usingthe outputs of one amp going to the other? Looks like two different style rca's. looks like you have one side of the rca's swapped around. One side of you rca coming from your radio is going to the output on the amp. And one side of the rca coming from your second amp is hooked up to the input of the first amp, not the output like it should be.

I gave here the volume an tuning Frequency and she did the layout on sketchup. I think it was 2.25 net tuned to 30. I made a cut list and she did everything else herself. I ordered her 3 grand worth of equipment I told her there was no way I was doing all the work myself. Right now a IA20.1 is on it but she wants two more so I ordered a Soundstream xxx-6500d. She just got her liscense a couple months ago here's a pic of her last enclosure we built together. It's hard to see in the pi but the baffle was fiberglass and sunk down about 3 inches. She's benn helping with installs since she was 10. -

Very Important Alternator Information!

I didn't mean to get you upset. I was just keeping the debate going. No hard feelings. Call powermaster tomorrow and see what they say. Hell we might both be wrong. -

I agree 1000% But for arguments sake why not? If every accessory in the vehicle along with your system is tuned on drawing 100 amps of current and you have a 120 amp alt what will it hurt? -

Unhook all your batteries in your car put a DMM on your alt lead and rev the engine. I bet it doesn't stay exaclty the same. I'm not saying it'll spike to 2000 volts but it can cause enough spike to damage electronics. Call Poowermaster tomorrow and ask them. I didn't say you were 100% incorrect in your thread just some of it. If your theory is correct then all the batteries this vehicle would blow up upon starting. -
