Are you talking about say 2000watts on two ICONS vs 3500watts on two ICONS? Or 2000watts on two ICONS vs 3500watts on three ICONS?
-
The Icon is 1000watts rms which is what you amp is rated for at 1 ohm. You would be very happy with it.
-
If you are going to stick with the Excelon I would do a SSA ICON. If not, what is your budget?

attach the remote wire to the acc wire. Pioneers are know for their remote turn on to fail. The JL's have a delayed turn on so you won't have any popping. -
If you just want 2 12's in a boxthen pretty much any 12 will fit. Howeer if you are willing to do some modification to the floor under the back seat, you can do 2 12's ported and still retain the function of the rear seats. I don't have any photos of the install but I have done four JL W6 12's sealed under the seat of a crew cab dodge.

$850 plus shipping on enclosure. Shipping on the sub and amp are free. The sub ia a Incriminator Audio twenty-one inch Death Row and the amp is a Sound Stream PCX1500. These are brand new and comes with full warrenty. You will also recieve a free enclosure built to your preffered deminsions.

it's already complete just waiting to be packaged to ship out. I normally wait till the weekend when I'm not working or rather slowed down a little to post pix and whatnot. I'll have some up on Saturday.
-
If the enclosurewill be 15" tall the port will be 13.5 inches tall. You will want to make the port three inches wide and make the port 21 inches long to port to 32 hertz. this will give you roughly 4 cubic feet after displacement.
-
Hopefully that won't be a problem this go-a-round. This time I have a couple extra hands helping out.

I'm gonna have to get with ya'll and get a banner up so we can sell some more XCONS.

size comparision against my lawn mower

Well I have to have something to do on rainy days when I can't fish......LOL
-
Does anyone have the official outside and mounting diameter on the sa-12's? thanks
-
It is a custom built Death Row twenty-one that was built by IA. 8 cubes works really well with this sub. You could go a little smaller or larger but I have been the happiest with 8 cubes tuned around 33 hertz with the 21''s

It' a clients vehicle
-
It's in need of a little cleaning but I took care of that before I packaged it......I promise. It'll be going out tomorrow if the ups driver doesn't have a hernia. The enclosure was made from birch to get the weight down so it could be shipped ups ground.

There will be bracing between the port and back wall but it is not pictured

Check out their site www.audioformz.com Along with their tower speakers for boats. They have some neat marine grade products for an ATV. They offer two two channel amplifiers that are 25 x2 and 45x2. They are about the size of large box of matches. They have compression fittings so all connections are waterproof. They also offer two different types of radio consoules. One houses a radio and two speakers and the other houses two speakers and one of their amps with a jack on the front of the consoule to plug in a mp3 player. I will have some pricing up in the next week but they do have MSRP on their site.

They are really tiny like three inches wide 1.5 tall and 4 inches long. They only pull around 5 amps of current so you don't have to worry about damaging your stator on your ATV. My Kicker rep now reps for them I saw and heard their line-up the other day and it is really great quality fiberglass work. The finish on the enclosures are either gelcoat, a chrome finish or a really durable textured matt gelcoat. It is basically the same finish you would find on a boat. The guy who owns the company also does OEM work for some of the top brands in the industry he also owns a different company that builds fiberglass molds for concrete. They did all the concrete mold work for the Arizona cardinals stadium.
