that's 2.4 cubic feet per sub externally. I don't see why you couldn't make it happen
-
If the sub doesn't have a pole vent, no clearance is needed. If so then at least the diameter of the pole vent between the sub and the back wall

He's my right hand man, who's going to be handling the marketing on the new Pinnacle Acoustics line of subs once they are availiable. I'm not sure of his screen name but he'll chime in later today.

looks like i am already going to have to fire his ass
-
14'' will be too tall if you figure the sub itself is another 1.5 to 2 inches plus excursion. 12 to 13 inches will as high as I would go if the trunk is only 16 tall.

You need to find you a deaf one like me. -
we are dealing with a few of the best designers and buildhouses in the industry. And using Patrick turnmire (the guy does car audio mag's klippel testing) to verify everything. So I am confident we will be putting out top notch product in the coming year.

Our marketing guy is Wanting to use the circled triangle and use different colored triangles to differentiate the different sub lines. Being we are a new company we need brand recognition rather than having sub line name on the cone of the subs
-
Audibel Customs will still be used for our custom installation services. Pinnacle Acoustics will be the branding of our subs.

Pretty much all BSN products, Also digestive enzymes are a must. There is no way your body can physically digest enough food needed for any supplement to work properly. I have been powerlifting since 2001, am 5feet 3 inches and weigh about 175 pounds. I more than likely spend more money on supplements a month than ya'll do on food. I am not very active during the day, but I still need to consume arorund 3500 calories a day to maintain my mass. Right now I am at about 10 percent body fat

Estimate on ported enclosure fro 2 SA12's
Quentin Jarrell replied to spsjr1987's topic in Argent Audio

I am starting to make diagrams for enclosures for both the 12 and the 15. I will make a sketch-up with a cut list for sealed and ported. I will list and optimum enclosure for a flat response, and a daily type enclosure with the typicical 3db boost around 35-45 hertz. What I need are some max measurements on typical trunks. List your max measurements. If need be I will do up several of each style.

remote line issue
Quentin Jarrell replied to Robert's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I don't think you stated what headunit you have, however some pioneer units have faulty boards. Their outputs can ready 12 volts but cannot supply enough current to allow the amp to come on. I have seen it quite a few times. You will hurt nothing by jumping power over to the remote input. It might save you another 4 days of wandering around. -
remote line issue
Quentin Jarrell replied to Robert's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
remove the remote turn on wire from the amp, use a piece of primary or sppeaker wire to jump your power supply to your remote input on the amp -

I use these 10 bucks at welding supply https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-bin/enlarge.pl?main/04040.gif:Lenco+Swedge-On+Tool+Model+840L -
The specs should be what's listing in my section. I recieved full Klippel analysis from Dan when I recieved the sample from him. But I want to be 100 percent sure before I start the presale. The 12 will start at $195 which includes shipping, plus discounts for multiple driver purchases. The 15 will be about $20 more.

The prototype went out Tuesday to Redrock acoustics, they should recieve it by Friday. we should have some info by the beginning of next week.

that would be a one ohm load

Amps won't power on....
Quentin Jarrell replied to dropkick13's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Did you check to make sure you are recieving 12volts at their remote turn on? -
The exodus appears to look the same, is about $42 cheaper but looks like it is on sale for the fall, and has 1.14 more excursion however its EBP is 47.33 which means it is geared more towards sealed, the Genesis' EBP is 66 which makes it more ported friendly The Genesis has a 18mm aluminium shortening ring between the washers The Genesis has a stronger 6 spoke basket, but I doubt the 12 spoke on the exodus has any problems, I specifically did not want that basket b/c other companies have had problems with them in the past. The genesis has a stronger motor with a qes .407 versus a qes of .45 of the Exodus The genesis has a lighter moving mass of 138 grams versus 206 grams of the Exodus Which makes the genesis a more efficient subwoofer The Exodus has a Pmax of 1000w the Genesis a Pmax of 2964w, almost 3 times the thermal rating. They don't list a rms rating but given it has a heavier moving mass and weaker motor and tighter suspension I would assume it would need more rms power to achieve xmax.
-
The goal was to come up with the best possible sounding sub under $300. While using the least amount of power as possible. You will see this for sale in stores between $260-$280. And although the thermal rating is high it only needs about 250 watts to reach its average xmax and 300 to 400 watts to reach its peak xmax of 24mm. The main advantage besides the fact the sub sounds amazing, is the consumer can possibly spend half as much money on their power supply when compared to anything else on the market that has comparable output levels as the Genesis. oh....just in case i didn't mention it, the Genesis is an xbl^2 sub.

genesis prototype is going out for Klippel verification
Quentin Jarrell posted a topic in Test 1, 2, 3...
The 12" Genesis protoytype is going out today to an independant lab to perform Klippel tests. As soon it passes we will begin with the presale.
